Not an epic tour IMO. I miss the mountain top finishes, Froome looks awkward on a bike, no style, not that it matters I guess. Sad that Cavendish and Satan went out so early on.

    Miss the team time trial.

Still a great spectacle and I watch it in admiration of all who take part.

I sold something a while ago and the payment was pending for a while. It cleared after a week and then I posted the item.

I did google the pending issue and seem to recall that this can be the case if the payment was made by email cheque, whatever one of those is.

I’d not release the goods until the payment clears.

I don’t think this is going to end well

Nor me sadly. Should’ve refunded the money and sold it elsewhere.

Dispute claim on its way I reckon.

Don’t ride a moped in London and you should be OK.

Fill it with dead wives and whack a patio over the top.

Probably pay for the house if you’re charging £3,000 per corpse.

I had one for a couple of years. Great bike. Got better the faster you went. Rock steady at speed.

Loved the surge if you kept it in 4th and pinned the throttle at 90-100mph. Wheeeee. Like being pushed forward by a giant hand. Very addictive.

Do the same to her. Fight fire with fire. If it wasn’t her. that’s a bonus.

What about an OK. Cracking sea boat and you can get a rig to suit your weight.

A Contender might suit you better. I had one many years back. Great boat. Looks good too compared to a Vortex, but then so would my morning dump.

Yes, you will die, I’ll give you £50 for it, cutting me own froat, but if it saves a life, it’ll be worth it.

I doubt any of us who aren’t in that situation have the faintest idea what they go through. There’s a guy at my local Sainsburys (don’t worry, I only use it in extreme emergencies) who lives as a woman. A less feminine figure it’s hard to imagine. He gets endless stick from young and old. Day in and day out the same crap.

I just can’t imagine the strength it takes to go through that each day.

Thank **** for the internet. Now I can read about people commenting on the choice of names that people they neither like nor know have chosen for other people that they’ll probably never meet.

How the **** did we get by before the web.

I’ll admit to doing some stoooopid speeds on motorbikes, but my golden rule has always been to do it for myself, where no-one is around, so if you do sling it down the road you’re not going to hurt anyone else.

My view exactly. I don’t ride with others as the temptation to ride like more of a nutter than I do is too great. That overtake that is safe for the first 2 or 3 bikes, becomes less so for the 4th and 5th bikes and touch and go for the others. Most won’t hold back and look soft in front of the group.

I don’t ride to many bike gatherings for the same reason. If I do, I ride at my own speed. At my age IDGAF what others think of my riding or how slow they think I am.

I choose the time and place to let rip.

He got her pregnant, they split up, she’s trying to get the best support for the baby. Shall we book you in for an empathy transplant?

She played no part in it the conception then? It’s either a joint enterprise or it’s not. I wouldn’t be railroaded into being little for more than a cash dispenser.

Who’s we, you and your mumsnet buddies?

She’s about to give birth for the first time, and will be raising a new baby as a single parent. Moving closer to her family seems like a very sensible thing to do.

So, it’s a democracy when it comes to footing the bills and a dictatorship when it comes to anything else.

Time he put his balls to more use that impreganation.

I’d purloin a nice yacht and live on that. Moored a little offshore for when the zombies make an appearance.

If it all became too much do a Crowhurst.

Jeez there’s some real Neanderthals on here. Why are so many of you nasty?

If she is giving birth before moving away then there’s no reason why you can’t be at the hospital, just not in the room as baby arrives. Reassure her that you’ll stay outside until she’s happy for you to go in to meet the new arrival.

As long as she’s getting what she wants, eh. The OP gets to pick up the bill and dance to her tune. I think he’s been used as a sperm donor. Now she’s got what she wants he can **** off and pay for her baby.

She expects you to pay for everything. I’d wait and get a paternity test when the sprog’s put in an appearance. Unless you can get them done prior to it popping out. Been a long while since I’ve been in your position.

It should allow me to take a lower paid but less stressful job in a few years.

Me too, I’ve taken a job where I’m only working four days a week. Can’t wait to start in all honesty.

Mind you, looking at the lists Mrs Z is preparing of jobs to do around the house, I may regret ithat. Still as long as she’s not spending the redundancy package, I’m happy.

Mortgage paid and no debt, it’s a good feeling. When I got made redundant there was much less worry than the others who’ve got mortgages, cars on credit loans etc to worry about paying each month.

The deed of gift for the cup used to stipulate that the races had to be held on the sea or an arm of the sea. Designed to stop those pesky Canadians bringing their fast lake yachts to the party.
