Oh well, evolution wouldn't warranty it so contact Chris King in Portland Oregon. Email yesterday saying please send it back and we'll sort it out all you have to pay is to get the hub to us :) so well pleased.

2.35 kevlar beaded ones, they're not as wide as the 2.25 Nobby Nic's that I've just taken off. I'll try again tonight.

Hairdryer to warm it up and fishing line slid / pulled down behind it to remove it without bending it.

Oh well, jacked the car up at the weekendm checked all the sliders in the calliper and they were fine so I thought I'd take the mount off to give it a good clean and the bottom mounting bolt sheared off :-( so it's off to the garage, hope they can remove the bolt and fit a new one.

Currently running Nobby Nics 2.1 and 2.25. Going to try some HR 2.35's as the NN's are bit thin / light to tubelss they qsquirm around to much

Agree with the comment on weight, I had a soda fully kitted out with King, Hope, XTR, Thompson, Pace forks and easton stuff and it only just scraped under 24lbs.

    Nice bike though

Hadn't thought of that, I've seen flexi's split but not brake down inside, you learn something everyday.

Fluid flushed last year when a rear brake pipe was replaced, might be worth bleeding the fronts as not sure if they did the full system. sliders move fine, think I'll just check everything tomorrow in the daylight.
    Thanks for the suggestions

For a weekend do the borrowdale bash in the morning and whinlatter in the afternoon one day then as stevenmenmuir says head to wilfs cafe the 2nd day and do a biggie round kentmere taking in Gatesgarth, Garburn and nanbield passes. I've got the routes if you want, can give you them in GPX or as pdf. Think they'll be on the bogtrotters site too.

Pads seem ok plenty of life left in them, have got a new set so for the sake of £15 I might just put them in, top tip with rotating the piston had forgotten about that one. Hopefully it'll be dry tomorrow and I'll have a good look.

Cracked one in Les Gets two years ago, crack on the thread but only discovered that when I got home so no idea what caused that.

I'm under 12 stone so probably about 12 1/2stone kitted up, tend to push big gears as opposed to spinning but they still sholdn't brake, I'll post a pic when I get a moment

Snapped at the axle end where the pinch bolts are, I was sprinting to get past a parked bus at the time. Already spoke to Steels in Gosforth they're going to send them off to Madison for me.

Which part of the Country, I';ve got an old A4 and the last two years it's passed, comes back washed and valeted too. There were some advisories that matched those listed by the indepent garage that does my servicing so I've no complaints. As said if they come back with a full list of things you can always go elsewhere
