Del, I unplugged the connector on the switch (located on the stat housing) and hey resto the fan doesn’t run. I’m going to put a test meter across it tonight, my understanding is that it should be an open circuit until the collant temp gets up to 84-90 degress C and which point the circuit is made and the fan will run. I’ve checked the fuse box and there’s two relays marked FAN, they’re both the same so I swapped them round and it made no difference. I’ll check them tonight to make sure they’re ok. I want oto be sure befoer I buy a new swictch as they’re £35 at the local motor factors and £65 at the dealers :(

two guys in our club have a navara. Ones got Thule Bars mounted to tht e top of the checker plate and can get three bikes on. The other guys got a hardtop for the back and we’ve managed 5 bikes and gear in there.

Balance bikes weren’t around when my youngest was learning to ride. He didn’t like the stabilisers and asked me to remove them. The following day I returned from work to find him riding round the back garden (he’d not long turned 4, what blew me away was watching him trackstand at the kerb outside thehouse the following week, no-one had told him to put his feet down when he stopped so he didn’t :)

I quite liked the vid, just looks like the kind of riding we do in Beamish Woods, as for aggresive xc the jury’s still out on that one, makes me want to get out on my bike though which is a good thing :)

Ok, I know which bolt you’re on about, there’s the bearing shaft that goes thru the lower shock eye (bush etc). If the bolt still won’t tighten when using both allen keys you’ve stripped the thread on the shaft or the bolt if it’s the shaft you can either buy a new shaft or tap the thread a bit more and put a longer bolt in. You could try swapping the bolts on each end over to see if it’s the bolt

the main problem was the lack of audible instruction, I’d have preferred it if the guy was more vocal and told when we were going wrong, going to fast or not fast enough.

It was the comment of 12year olds could do better that really got my goat, a bit more audible communication and explanation of arm signals etc. would have helped loads. You couldn’t hear what he was saying, whispering Bob Harris would’ve been easier to ubderstand :-)
