I've just picked mine up fromteh powder coaters this morning, will need polishing to get a super smooth glossy finish and then waxed once all the decals are applied. I've got one of those original blue decals kicking about but really want the white wrap one. The finishing kit is blue though so it might look ok. Have you purposefully left the Soul decals for the top tube off, looks nice and clean without them on.

polka dot jersey stands out which helps you get noticed by car drivers / pedestrians etc when you're commuting, and they were selling them cheap :)

MegaExo is the same diameter as Shimano if I remember correctly, I think it's GXP that's a different size but I could well be wrong :-(

evo cx's don't last that long and are a bit fragile if you're doing lots of miles I suffered with glass cuts.

They're cracking tyres though and I've got some I save for special occassions wher I need all the help I can get.

AS for wheels, I got some bonty race x-lites of the bay for £200 massive difference to how the bike felt

Yep it was my daughters the other day and I turned up to see her arrive with her mates. The amount of cash that had obviously been spent by the mass of people there (or rather by their parents) made me feel very unconfortable, everyone trying to out do each other, the stretched limos, hummers, fast jap cars etc.. complete and utter waste.

I’m all for an end of year / school (for some of them) party but the americanism of it all really gets my goat :-(

Montane featherlite is ok for a light shower but won’t stop full on rain, the Velocity_DT does, having used the one I got from Awcycles I’d recommend it, the sleeves are really long too. Find somewhere to try one on before you order to get the right size

FYI Cynic-al expanding foam can be used to reduce flex, just ask anyone that’s built a box framed westfield, you can spray the expanding foam inside the chassis to stiffen it up

Hi all, I’ve just been on the phone to easyjet 08712 882236 and spoke to Claudio who was very helpful and steveh is correct. As long as the only thing in the bike bag is the bike i.e. sporting equipment it’s exempt from excess baggage charges so you can have your 20Kg hold bag and up to 32Kg of bike in a bike bag :-)

Once it’s all done make sure the bumper is back in the correct place so the boot / tailgate doesn’t rub on it like mine does now oh and that they fit a bypass realy if it’s meant to have one fitted so the bulb failure warning light doesn’t come on when you apply the brakes :-(

If you’ve got some quik-clamps with rubber feet they work just clamp it enough to hold the hose, failing that make your own blocks, drill a 6 or 7 mm hole in a bit of wood and then split the wood.

Supaguard is imo a complete waste of money. Spend some cash on decent wax (not polish) swissol or something similar and do the car with that.

Oh so when I check the thermostatic switch it should have continuity until the coolant gets warm. So I’ve got the wiring or the relays to check to see where the fault is :-( Trying to get a wiring diagram for a 97 Starlet is difficult as there’s no haynes manual for it.
