Paul,do you have a local outdoor market? If so,there's usually somebody flogging records. Take 'em along and get rid.

I've had a Hope headset for 8 years. It had some freshgrease when It went onto its'second bike a year ago. I like having a Yeti that hasn't got a CK headset.

Mud guard, crud catcher under the frame and inner tube thingy beween forks an…waterproof shorts. It looks shite, but I don't care….it doesn't look great without mud guards.

Had mine a few years. Nice and snug,no signs of wear.A trusted part of my winter riding wardrobe.

I don't get cold feet, use SPDs exclusively and when it's cold and wet, wear North Wave boots and Woolie Boolie socks.

Firt time out with Shimano clipless,a few years ago…I remembered on the car park where we met up….didn't at the next,OUCH! Didn't break anything, though.
Michael, out of interest why would you swop to flats for Peaks riding?
I like the "connected" feeling that spuds provide.
I'm not getting into the one is better than the other debate,as with everything else,it's each to their own.

The seat height stays constant on both of my bikes. Both bolt-up seat clamps. I just hang my scrawny backside off the back of the saddle.

Not keen on diesels, noisy, smelly ,heavy nasty fumes(health issues with soot that they belch out). Small petrol engines are where it's at. Unless you're a high-miler.

I Demoed a bike earlier in the year. Wet conditions as usual, worst tyres that I've used, including no-name shite on my first mountain bike.

Best ever. Two trips to The Lakes,a few long rides in the Peaks and riding every week with a good bunch of lads and lasses.
Happy with my fitness, happy with my bikes, especially the Yeti. Roll on 2010.

Not a Man Utd fan,but an admirer of Giggs. Not fussed about Button not winning it. F1 …..now that is tedious, apart from all the cheating and back-biting.

We used to have noisy neighbours….late nights, loud music. After a number of reasonable request failed…. I would get up early, turn the speakers towards the wall and stick some bass-heavy early PiL on the stereo before leaving for work. He got the message.

Each to their own. I've got an 07 575,which doesn't look as good as the later bikes, but I prefer how it rides to the newer ones.
Don't get wound up by folk not liking your bike…..but it is a bit odd posting twice on a thread for ugly bikes. Trolling?

Some great sheds on here chaps. That old Bultaco looks like fun. A mate of mine has a shed full of old PEs and an IT 200.

That photo was taken about a year ago,it's "evolved a bit since then, new forks, wheels etc. A great bike…..and I couldn't give a flying one what the singletrack perfectionists think.

I've got ancient Hope C2s on my winter bike. Had them for years and they were second-hand when I bought 'em. Repeat what TJ has said.

Lycra for me. Don't care what people think. Baggies are better for chaps and/or chapettes with a fuller figure. I'm a scrawny get, consequently baggy shorts tend to snag on the saddle.

I've got the Endura ones,no idea of the size.Tried them, they fit. They do work, but as usual,I think we get stung for mountain bike gear.

Great Christmas fun for all the family. Wii Music was a big hit in the Riley household last year.
