I've got a 2010 P7,with no shim. The seatpost still slipped.I binned the crappy OE clamp and fitted a Hope non QR clamp. That's fixed it.

Andy, ofcouse you're right about the dick-head contingent…and on motorbikes it's very apparent.Riding where they shouldn't,loud exhausts etc… but the countryside is for all of us to enjoy.

Can't understand your blinkered attitudes. Firstly they're not MXers. They're either almost street legal enduro bikes,or pukka street-legal trail bikes.
I used to enjoy trail riding on motor bikes and we were targeted by the Police. Usually waiting in a patrol car at the end of a trail, nabbing us for illegal number plates….great work!
The TRF are a respected organisation with years of experience in ROW matters.
Your small-minded attitude is similar to the RA's stance, the countryside is for us and not everbody. Shame on you!

Lizard Skins short ones for me.Used cut down Ritchey foam grips, which can't be beat for comfort, but they began to deteriorate once I'd modified them.

I've got 2010 P7 as a winter bike.Built it it up with old bits and other people's cast-offs. Rides well, good on the descents. It has Revelations on the front. Seat post sliding has been the only problem.Easily solved with a Hope non QR collar.
Too expensive for a Taiwanese built frame, the same applies to Cotic. Why the aversion to On Ones and Ragleys? Too reasonably priced?

I'm partial to TT Landlord, but can't source any round here (Stoke-on-Trent)
Sampled some Mole Catcher on last night's post-ride social. It hit the spot .

Emmerdale,I've watched it for years.I love how the script writers lose interest with a plot and just leave it in mid-air.
Take Me Out, no likey,no lighty.
Wire in the Blood. Absolute shite but I loved it.Robson Green is a grade A arse-hole.
Waking the Dead-ditto,Trevor Eve also makes it to grade A.

As good as they are,not really suited for road use.If you fancy a Land Rover,a Freelander,or Disco will make more sense.Japanese rivals make even more sense.

I've scrapped the idea of having an estate. I spend most of my time in the car on my own.Seems stupid having all that car around me,just for the odd occasion like holidays and when I give somebody a lift on a mountain bike trip. Looks like a Civic for me. Feel a bit deflated.

Roger, you're right.Everybody makes the occasional dud motor, you have to be unlucky to buy one these days, from any manufacturer.

If you want a Bora, you buy one,but it's nowhere near quirky,it's dull like the rest of their range.

The Peaks take some beating. I've got friends abroad….they seem to spend a lot of time on Facebook telling everbody how great NZ/Aus/Canada is.
Despite everything, this countrt is still the best.

Bumhands beat meto it. Don't look too far ahead, find a gear that's comfortable and concentrate on keeping your breathing nice and steady.
    Don't consider stopping.
I've got the same bike, but I'm 10 and a half stone. I love climbing on and offroad.

You'll lose some pressure when you attach the pump. I set my forks to how I like them, not how the manual says.

Go to Honest John for known problems. Like most modern cars they're ok.It's on the list for my next motor. My head says Honda Accord,my heart says Subaru Legacy, but I'm not ruling any estate out of the equation.

I've got some Lizard Skins lock-on grips, which are fine. Before that I cut down some Ritchey foam grips, which are great, but looked a bit tatty where I'd done the cutting.

I'd be happy with any of the above. Even the Avensis looks good. If pushed,I'd go for the Honda.

I've got 'em,won't be going back to trigger-shift.No blisters,no holes in gloves (and they're eight years old) and no problems in the mud.
    I've got a X9 rear-mech,but that Xo has tempted me.Damn!
