Could be a number of things;wheels out of balance, warped disc/discs,or uneven tyre wear. Get it to your local tyre fitter(not Kwikfit,or any of the other nationals and ask them to sort it (cheapest option first).

200 and something quid on Hope 4 LED light. I had serious reservations about spending so much on a light, but spending so much has encouraged me to miss no Tuesday night rides this winter. Good lights, dead reliable and no faffing……and I’ve never been so fit at this time of year……..

The fast Audis are great cars, but if ANYTHING needs replacing it’s mega bucks…..and they have attracted an unenviable image.
If you can live with the fuel economy get a fast Subaru any model will do.Great to drive, ultra reliable and soooo cheap……shame the Mrs doesn’t like Mondeos though…..Any particular reason,or is it just daft snobbery?

If you like it,it doesn’t matter if it’s in vogue ,or not.

Trimix,is dead right. There are too many car manufacturers, making too many cars and especially too many different “types” of cars. Niche markets, soft roaders blah, blah blah. A Ford Focus(or equivalent) is all most of us need.

Substance?? Compilations don’t count! Try Technique, every track’s a coconut. ….And not one mention of Joy Division?? Unknown Pleasures and Closer should be in every music lovers collection

The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Trentham Gardens 1976. Not my favourite band at the time, but a real rite of passage. I was so surprised that my fairly strict parents allowed me to go.

I gave up the motorbikes years ago. I’ve got two kids and I would take them as pillion. Can remember riding pillion on my Uncle’s scooter,I must have been about 5,or 6. Loved it,which lead to me yearning for a motorbike of my own, until I finally got one.

I change tyres when they’re shagged. Got a Kenda Dread tread on the back(so far,so good) and a Maxxis Medusa front, which has coped very well all through the winter. Both 2.1

The C30 is the more stylish of the two. However,if you need to carry anything in the boot, you will struggle.

This is from a middle aged man that’s never left Stoke-on-Trent. There are pros and cons for living in any area, not just London. If I was in your situation, with that job offer,I’d be there like a shot. It is one of the best cities in the world…..doesn’t necessarily mean the end to the loneliness problem though.
Good luck with what ever you decide.

We’re all different. i’m a window cleaner and was back at work quickly, but there was the occasional twinge. My father-in-law had his fixed a bit earlier than me and his popped again.
I have occasional pain for no apparent reason. i’m late forties, reasonably fit…..but not fell running fit…
