cheers aif – I got mine as the frame only in the 40% of thing @ £240 – went with the intention of getting the Tig SL, spent ages looking at them both, there was only £60 in it when I got mine……………….pretty much had to flip a coin.

I was very tempted by either the Tig SL or the 853 but went for this instead – apparantly the same geometry (dont know how true that is) but very comfy and I’m mor than happy with it :))))

Lots of good advice there, chers fellas – the camera I have is only an Olympus compact, its nowhere near what I’m guessing you use, but its one of those shockproof/waterproof things so handy when I’m out on the bike.

Downloaded paint.net last night, but as I was in a rush to get to the pub I’ve only spent about an hour playing, seems very good though. Gonna have a play with that for a bit longer and will also try out Gimp. Depending on how much I get into it, I’ll decide whether its worth splashing the cash on Elements or Paintshop. Been buttering up Mrs. Yosh for a while now re. a DSLR……we’ll see how that goes.

Yeah, it wasn’t my best! I’d been hammering everything out there and confidence was through the roof – I didn’t even look at it properly just went for it……….lesson learnt!

That was on day 3 of an 8 day trip, spent the rest of my time there drinking and snmoking all day long in the chalet watching wimbledon:(

It was about 6 weeks for bones to heal, but drive an automatic and got one of those little ball things like truck drivers have on the steering wheel so thatr I could get back to work – not really convinced it was very legal!

And thats the point – I doubt many of our service men and women signed up so that they could secure oil, I think the vast majority did it to serve their country. Thats why I feel disgusted at these so called protestors / trouble-causers, whatever you want to call them.

Oh yes, nearly forgot – hire a bike and head to Margaret Island – for extra fun ride through the ‘council flats’ on the way, bit scarey but fun:)

Margaret Island hosts music festivals and other outdoor events, but when we went for a ride the place was pretty dead – theres like disused abandoned tennis couirts ans swimming pools and structures that seem to have no purpose hidden in the trees. We spent the afternoon exploring and picnicking with our trusty hire pedal back cruisers. It reminded me of a place that had ben deserted after a nuclear attack.

Its also very beautiful, being an island surrounded by the Danube – you could easily spend a day sat on the grass, forgetting where you atre, looking out accros the river pondering life.

My god, I’ve posted a lot here, but memories of such a great time have come flooding back……….I really want to go back!

I wouldn’t worry about the 20 something reference either – I’d have been about 30 when I was there (and certainlty wasn’t the oldest) and was made to feel very welcome by everyone I met…………happy times:)

Ok so apart from swimming what else is there to do on Budapest!Would like to drink in some old classy bars/cafes during the day/evening.

Try ‘Kuplung’ its down an ally somewhere behind Kiraly Utca. It reminded me of an old acide party held in a warehouse. Its really difficult to fing but worth it.

I spent quite a bit of time in there when I went with Mrs. Yosh a few years ago…….certainly the best bar / ambience / insight / way to meet ppl that I dfound there – it’d be top of my list if I went back.

Kuplung (Clutch)is located in a former warehouse/car braking garage. From the outside you would never even know there was a club there, but the crowds of younger generation alternative breeds flood out of the alleyway and onto the street in the late evening air, ushered in only by the large bouncers who perch neatly on barstools at the alleyways entrance.
Follow the trail of twenty-somethings and your led down a dingey pathway. You wouldnt notice the entrance into the bar from the courtyard if it wasnt for the ‘Effes’ flouro light in the corner. Entering through the double doors and you instantly feel at home.
The bar is filled with people, all happy go-lucky with cheap drinks in hand. There are always dogs running around (friendly ones of course), and everyone is keen to learn your story, where youve been, where your going to and how your going to get there!!
The whole bar is filled with graffiti, artistic yet in keeping with the grungy, interior decor of an urban paradise. There is plenty to keep you amused, table football, pool, and a dj spinning underground dubstep, rock, dance, trance – just about everything! Through the back of the bar there is a live music venue where some of the best hardcore/punk/metal bands have played.

With an amazing atmosphere, cheapest drinks in town, and a basicly tourist free bar, check it out and chill with the locals!!

Hi Simon, I went away to RTFM but got a bit lost so gave up after a bit of swearing. I right click the link and the only save option i have is ‘save target as’…..so click this, a dialogue box pops up to save but I only have the oprtion to save as a safari document…..I’ve had a good play but not got any further…….this is when I started to read the instructions and thought, I’ll leave it till tomorrow :?
