    Saddle rails?

I don’t think Pikes have a lockout (some newer models might).
That knob just adjusts high speed compression?

Get it replaced. You’ll be doing lots of descending on rocky ground over the full day and you’ll be getting tired towards the end, and you’ll probably be getting more confident at hitting things faster.

I’ll be there next weekend sporting my fluro yellow troy lee full face!

Can you press in an offset bushing at 90 degrees, I thought the shock under compression would just spin it round?

You could just get a non-stealth version with an external hose?

Go to an indoor rock climbing wall and have a go on the ropes?
You’ll soon get over the fear.

Can we hijack this thread to test the water for some sort of regular singletrack ride for York folk? I head out to Dalby every 1-2 weeks but there’s usually just 2 of us so always nice to add more people/route variation…

There’s a social ride at Dalby every Tues night that sets off at 6:30pm from visitor centre, split out into 3/4 groups of varying ability.

Generally mix in bits of the red route and some off piste trails, maybe come along one night?

Skate shoes aren’t the best. I used them before five tens and would get through the soles in 2-3 months.

Really enjoyed it, the stages were perfect, even the transitions were good fun.
Made quite a few mistakes on some stages though, stage 1 in particular was really greasy and I was slow on the top half.

Managed a time of 16:09 overall.

I thought the same when I got my contract.
I may be wrong, but I think piggyback providers don’t get full 3G speed, or it may be limited at certain times.

I had a sim only plan for a couple of months with them.
The signal was pretty poor in my area even though it said it was ‘excellent’ on their coverage map.
3G was also very slow for some reason, now gone to EE.

    Got any photo’s?
Sounds like a manufacturing issue rather than wear and tear?

Is it an issue with the actual shock, rather than frame alignment?
    What frame is it?

Also disagree with the sizing, I’m UK11 in 5.10 freeriders but my Terrex’s do feel slightly too big, should have gone for a UK10.5.

They are good shoes, but prefer my freeriders for grip and feel on the pedals.

By bung do you mean the tapered plug? The instructions say to torque it up to 70-75Nm?

Everything was clean when they were installed, and BB bearings are brand new and running nice and smooth :?

Take the bulkhead out of the caddy and you will get most beds in there.
I just use a self inflating mat and slide the passenger seat as far forward as it goes. I’m 6’2″ and fit in fine.

It started as a slight click/creak at the bottom of the non-driveside pedal stroke, but now creaks on both pedal strokes when you put power down.

I’ve only ever had deore/slx cranks previously and have never had any problems.

No I haven’t spoke to them yet, thought I would ask here first.
The LBS I bought them from did mention that they are known to creak if you don’t grease them enough, so I put grease on every contact point possible…
    Under the bearing caps
    Inner bearing race
    Chainring contact points
    Crank axle
    Wedge
    End cap

I did wonder if it was to do with the BB bearing tension adjuster. The instructions just say to ‘tighten by hand’ then torque up the 2.5mm allen bolt, which seems a bit vague?

I managed to break a metacarpal earlier this year trying to line my tyre logo’s and valves up :(

GNAR bike park here too, although looking at the forecast I think I’ll just turn up Sunday for the race :)

Mate has one and fits our bikes in fine length wise, the only slight issue is getting my XL bike in do to the height of the bars. The roof does have a few crease marks so you do have to take care getting it in and out.

Practice riding some technical trails while your heart rate is already near max for the mid stage sprints.
Sticking to the right line is much harder to do when you’re ****ed

Try and get Tesco to check the CCTV.
You can get some of the car details on mycarcheck.com using the reg number, if that helps.

Managed to pick one up yesterday riding round dalby, only noticed when I got back home in the shower.

Is it true you can only get lyme’s if the tick has been attached for more than 24 hours?

I tend to just ride with a sports direct foldable bottle in one pocket, and keys, phone & sweets in another.

Longer rides I’ll take a small bumbag to carry tools and food.

Or if I’m going somewhere remote or riding all day I’ll take a camelback, but prefer to ride without if possible.

You will have to get it serviced before you hand it back.
Check what your service interval says on your dash settings, it varies depending on how you drive. I have a longlife service interval on my Caddy but the dash is saying it needs a service at 17,000 miles.

If it’s a 3 year lease then yes you will have to MOT it.

Is there not a button on your dash to check?
You probably have variable service intervals depending on your driving style.
Most VAG cars tell you how many miles / days until the next service.

What sort of riding? Some nice BW’s around goathland and fylingdales.
Not ridden anywhere nearer to Whitby though…

Some steeper trails in raincliffe woods, and wykeham has a nice DH line.

Minions are quite a square profile tyre, so you really need to lean the front end to find the grip.

Pressure sounds fairly high too, I tend to run around 22psi up front.

    Oh dear…

Is there a quicker way to get a refund than going through contacting the seller on ebay, then waiting 8 days for reply before ebay step in?…
