I lived in Birkby, Huddersfield for many years and I’m led to believe it’s very similar. I can probably give you a few pointers and educate you in the local dialect.
Your kids will never fit in. They’ll only be able to count up to ten on their fingers while all their new schoolfriends will be able to count upto twelve! 😆
I've ridden the ones on the opposite side and they weren't very good, easy to ride but far too long so by the time you're half way down you are bored and thinking this is like coming down on a jackhammer. Better to hoist over the wall/gate and ride down the grass banking or the overflow if its dry!
Do you mean would it affect the performance of your 4X4? I seem to remember you driving up all the mountains with you not caring how beat up my hired Ford Focus was getting. Although maybe the lack of oxygen had caused Nige to faint and that sweet old lady was giving him mouth to mouth to bring him round!! 8)
Rode the SS last night in Calderdale of all places! and fully rigid too! There were a big group of us out on lots of different bikes, someone was on an Orange Patriot and looked like he was having lots of fun! I had lot's of fun too it just never occured to me and the guy on the Patriot to stop and argue who was having the most fun and who was on the correct bike for the ride! 😆
Have not shot this **** yet? If you can wait till september we’ll all go down to Plymouth for the weekend instead of going to Scotland. While we’re down there we can pay a visit to this tw@! Is there any riding dawn sarf?
Thanks for all your offers definately interested in the 17″ kona and maybe the Scott if you can send me some pics, the singlespeed isn’t what I’m looking for and the 19″ will be too big.
