Flat coated retreiver, best breed of dog !

I have had numerous breeds through my life, and i can honestly say that IMO the best breeds are the Flat coated retriever and the Dachshund.

Seriously do some research on them and you will see what an amazingly friendly, loving, easy going dog the Flatties are

We have a Flattie called charlie

Hey grumm, first off, thanks for your support in that "other" thread.

Hope you are keeping him aware of the value of money and working for things etc

Yes he is fully aware of the value, its Christmas and birthday rolled in to one, plus he certainly pulls his weight around the house too.

He is a great kid !

Hey slowrider, thanks for the sensible advice 🙂

(say you have your e13 for bashing through rock gardens, it sounds more 'core)

Again appreciate the advice, not sure i wanna sound core though, i am just a normal bloke that like getting out on the trails.

Why is it that in life and on these forums, you have to say things or do things to be accepted.

as in it has DH parts to save personal injury when riding!?!?!?!)

Seriously dude, i wouldn't worry about it. 😀

As i said, it was one of the reasons i got an e-13, the other is that at 220lbs i have a very low bottom bracket, even with 260 lbs of pressure in my shock.

One of the reasons i wanted an e-13 was because my last outer ring, took a huge slice out of my calf 😳

yes nice bike , but what sort of black magic voodoo is keeping it from falling over ?

😀 A small stick and photoshop

Hey big M, he is 12, and yes he is a lucky boy, i sure didnt have a bike like that when i was his age, but we have the best father son time every weekend when we are on the trails so its a worthwhile investment.

    Heres the thing.

I do have very big hands, i am a big guy ! 😉

As for the champagne truffle, etc etc. The point about a self build is that you can spec what you want. I happened to want an e 13 with XTR spec.

I know that the whole point of forums is for people to voice there opinions, so hey, if you dont like it, no biggie. Its your opinion.

I happen to LOVE IT, dream build and all that.

To the peeps that said they like it. – Thanks !

To be honest i havent even ridden it properly yet, die to the snow, so may drop the spacers yet.

See you all on the trail 😀

The shifter set up is perfect for my big hands, and one finger braking.

Admittedly they are a little far apart but when bombing down some singletrack, its probably the last thing i am thinking about.

    Its comfortable

I am a wedding photographer, so try my best to compose correctly and get white balance etc spot on straight out of the camera.

I have several actions i run in photo shop and lightroom. If i have a real winner i may spend up to a few hours on the image, getting the brides facial tone right etc. When it comes to bikes, pretty much straight out of camera.

So white spirits in a jar and shakey shakey seems best, can you put lube on straight after the spirits or should it dry?

I still need to get the hang of the powerlink, sometimes it takes ages, other times I can do it straight away, there is definitely a knack to it

thing is his bike is a "good one" (santa cruz) and i dont trust letting him out on it on his own, could get mugged stolen etc.

So i just want to spend £250 or so on a bmx that he can pootle about to the park and school etc.

As a Christian, this seems over the top but i must admit that i cant stand blasphemous language.

I really do find it offensive.

To the un initiated its kind of like if someone was dissing yo mamma. – It just gets to you.

    witty biting remark deleted.

A wise man once said "never argue with a fool, people might not notice the difference"

Bottom line, my 10 year old daughter has one less present.

Some of your comments were not helpful at all, and to be honest were rude and offensive.

But i guess every forum has people like that!

what doesnt help is that you cant even phone wiggle – email only

My point is that i ordered from wiggle and crc at the same time with the same postage conditions,

    crc arrived next day
wiggle – still waiting and now someone wont get their present.

As for leaving it late – as far as i am concerned if the website told me to choose a particular delivery method for pre christmas dels then thats what i expect
