You really need to think carefully about the mainstream school route.

Is the school really prepared for her, do they have enough TA’s and/or the funding for a dedicated carer if needed?

I know at my current school the lack of TA’s is causing issues with a couple of the statemented kids.

The down side to a specialist school is that they miss the school experience and there may not be many around in the near future.

In fact I’m going to break out the hydrofluric for cleaning this weekend. Might as well go the whole hog and really test it out.

After reading all this thread I went into the cupboards at work and dug out a bottle of NAOH pellets.

I spent the evening throwing them at my bike and so far it hasn’t dissolved.

Tomorrow I will borrow a shot blaster and see if that is any good for the job

Would you buy from someone who posted this?

Sold something on eBay that ended up going for a lot less than I hoped for… obviously, I know the market sets the price etc etc, but I’m feeling really unhappy about letting said item leave my hands for the relatively paltry amount it finished on!!

What’re the repercussions if I just tell the buyer that it’s no longer for sale? I’ll get a negative feedback I know, but is there anything else (legal challenges or something stupid like that perhaps?)

….. but given your history I wouldn’t buy from you either. It’s all swings and roundabouts.

    +1

The not wanting to sell at the ebay price is the first thing I think of when I read a psychle post, followed by the next time I read a thread about another ebay related problem which appeared to not be his first……….not someone I would want to buy from.

    I wouldn’t buy it.

He might agree a price then change his mind about selling it to me. That would be terrible.

So why are you posting this? Did you get pipped to the post on something that you wanted?

    Install a bum gun.

Now I can tell my ass-sponge story.

An American I knew in Thailand used to swear by his ass sponge. He carried it in a plastic bag in his pocket. Whenever he went for a dump he would wet the sponge to help polish things off, before returning it to the bag…..

Is it not probable that nobody has heard much of 2010’scracking because there are less out there being used due to the previous quality issues and a damaged reputation

I graduated and took off around the world, took me 7 years to get back.

I know it’s cool to have a northern european girlfriend and is every red blooded males dream (or at least at school) but take care of yourself first and her second.

SHE sees it as a longterm thing, but do you?

I have/had a Wanga, but not a Halfords, an original import before they grabbed the franchise.

Loved it, and will be building it back up ASAP as either a 1×9 or a single speeder for evening jaunts

Gave it a go using my magicshine battery pack and no luck.

Not sure why not, will have to investigate further, no light, no burning, nowt……still my soldering was ok for shaky hands.

I presume that if the building or walls were damaged then it would be contents, but if it was carpet etc it would be contents.

Just trying to get an idea of what sort of cover I would require if I go with the easier option of using the curret pipe work

    Makes a change.

I had issues with Oris, Lenovo, HP, various Korean companies all over them rejecting freemail accounts and emails from outside of Korea.

Saying that, it wasn’t too surprising really, you cant send sms from korean mobiles outside of korea.

naver.com may not accept incoming emails from outside of KOrea or from foreign email address’s altogether.

Used to drive me mad living out there the over protectiviness of the ISP to allowing foreign emails in….or was it just closing the borders electronically.

I have a slightly lumpy but sealed concrete floor.

I was planning on using that 6mm fibre underlay to level it out before laying, but have had others mention laying something like MDF over floor instead to get it completely flat.

Does that sound like mentalness or not?

    It has made a difference.

Mrs Q once decided to wash her car engine with a hose pipe. She had seen people using jet washers and thought that the hose would do as well.

My mate and I strugged to figure out why the car was misfiring, then on taking it to a garage after giving up we were shown soaking wet spark plugs. Strange we thought. Replaced the spark plugs and everything was ok.

ToldMrs Q about the water – that is when she told us about washing the engine…..bless.

Stopping to admire some elephants and fix a bike when out for our New Years Day ride, when the leader of our group started telling us to move it quicky. The elephants had taken a notice of us and were moving in front of the young one, getting ready to charge.

    That sounds probable.

Any idea as to what to expect off the 1804?

I was thinking closer to 1400, but that is a fair old discount.

Got a decent freestanding fridge freezer so keeping that.

Washing machine as well is decent, so will just wedge that under for now.

Dishwasher will be bought and fitted either there and then or later, depending on mates funds.

Looking at oven and hobs, it will do the job, we never use the oven anyway, missus uses the hob a lot more than the oven.

Quite tempted by one of those induction hobs, but not sure she would like cooking on it.
