Voodoo are so good that if you email Voodoo themselves, Joe Murray will reply with info about the frames.

    Try that with GT

Quirrel – I paid £20 for one of those drill bits from Machine Mart, and also £70 for a pillar drill and £30 for a new soldering iron, so my lights haven’t been cheap.

Bargain then getting my drill bits for a fiver. Soldering iron was in the loft and my drill, well lets just say that a few beers numbs the pain when stabbing oneself in the knee with a drill. My body is the pillar.

I borrowed a 9v battery power supply from work.

I just spotted some 10 quid 18v drills at Netto tonight, so I might buy one for the house anyway and if it works then get another for the battery pack.

Old Valentines card, used condoms and shared utility bills are usually good evidence

And photos together, which is always hard when you only ever take photos of each other when out and about.

    OP,

Collect evidence of your relationship, then apply for a fiance visa when she is back in the states.

It’s easy to do, don’t get hung up on the immigration limits etc, it doesn’t count in this case.

I’ve been through it and still going through it now. ILR application is due in April and even though there is no reason to worry about it, I do. Especially with a sprog on the way.

Don’t stress about it, don’t get sucked into the xenophobic crap, it’s an easy process to try.

You could try for a settlement visa based on her being a partner, but it’s a nightmare to prove, so go fiance first.

It’s one of thise different depth bits that you can use on metal. Shaped like a christmas tree. On sale for 4.99 three separate bits, seemed too good a bargain to leave

I have managed to buy the wrong Hammond box somehow, not sure how, but I have the solid plastic end pieced one, not the one in two parts with plate at the end.

Quirrel – you need to read the thread, all those questions and more in the first few pages. The leaflet from BCT explains the cable.

    What leaflet?

    Xylene

    Questions

How to bond the driver to the bit of alumunium.
    What silicon seal to use?

On the cable with the jack, which is negative? The white striped cable or the black cable.

Any easy ways to cut holes in the black plastic bevel for the reflectors or just to use the perspex

Years ago, when I was a bit naughty, I used to empty out co2 canisters to make crater makers (don’t ask)to empty the canisters I used to hit a nail into the end.

Unfortunately, I once managed to take out the strip light in the garage and the window in one go, bouncing off the walls and roof. My folks weren’t too pleased.

Had a spate of problems with the missus and bus drivers. From one telling her that foreigners should f*ck off back to their own country. To another that stopped the bus a few yards from the stop, let others on, then closed the door refusing to let her on, then driving to the bus stop opening and closing the doors and driving off.
The same driver refusing her pass repeatedly. The same driver refusing to issue a return ticket.
Went on for a while, I reported it everytime to stagecoach, she hasn’t seen him for a long time now.

Then there was the driver who took her on the wrong bus route, when there was a detour, and thought it was funny to drop her back at the same spot she had got on at 20 minutes later. She had asked if it was the Gateshead or Newcastle bus, due to a turn around detour on the bus route. He had chatted quite politely with her though during the journey, so she was just a bit bemused by it all.

At the same time she has had some really nice ones who have gone out of their way to make sure she gets off at the right stop when she is off somewhere new. Although they might not have an option as she is quite persistant when it comes to checking where she is going.

If it was fruit the jack fruit would win hands down.

Vegetable wise, probably wild jungle taro.

I put one up a few months back, under duress, it’s build quality was crap, walls really warped, roof flimsy, floor flimsy, needed serious reinforcement in all areas to make it stronger.

This was from the top recommended wooden bike shed maker. So be warned.

It now has 6×2 running up the insides with decent screws into it. 2×2 znd 2×4 around the frame and door. All hinge and locks bolted in with long screws into a 2×4 frame built additionally around the door.

It was called a Billy Oh Eze

I also note now that they didn’t add my comments to their customer reviews, which has now been changed to customer testimonials.

Came too on a mates floor to find the bad guy from mission impossible 2 staring back at me.

My mates flat was being used as a green room at the time for a patsy kensit flick and we had been on a three day bender. Nice guy, still no idea who he was though.

We were asked to removed the gazebo from out the back yard/lane bit as it was in the shot. Still not sure how the gazebo came to be there, vague memories of falling over a stack of disposable barbeques in B&Q and buying it.

That was the same weekend the armed response and dog unit turned up to the party because one of the lads decided to purchase a mini-bb gun and shoot at us out the window….not the best thing to do on the quayside in Newcastle, really.

I sound as if I’m chewing ball bearings when I eat my lunch.

Jaw clicks away on every chew, makes me quite selfconcious, but it’s my lunch time and if they don’t like it they can go eat elsewhere.

Bought a Rab Vaporise from here in XXL and wore it out on Sunday which turned into peeing rain.,

Kept me warm and dry until the end. Really impressed with it, never having owned an epxensive outdoor jacket before.

Had it with horses yesterday. Three abreast on the fire-road. No effort to move over to make room for two bikes to go through single file, so stopped two abreast ourselves and made them go into single file themselves.

No reason to have stayed three abreast, we could have passed each other but they insisted on acting like twunts.

Horsey types no more to say really.

    Near Dingwall, Highlands.

    Where I was born.

As for riding, do I bugger.

I have plans to buy some cheap bits to do up my Wanga frame to make it a pick up and ride around the streets on an evening bike, but by the time I get in, I’m shattered and still have piles of work to do.

Weekends should be riding time, today for example it’s perfect, but I have an observation on Tuesday, way behind on marking, etc etc.

    SO tomorrow it is, hopefully………..

The first outing on them, I had to push up a bit of road that I normally just whizzed up.
