Is it the 6 speed or 5? You could be a SMF in but it is noisy.

I replaced my clutch, flywheel and csc for about 280 from GSF parts plus 100 quid fitting.

    A pathetic thread indeed.

Even more pathetic is the response on the actual for sale thread from the OP.

How large is the moral horse’s stable hear at STW?

I once, when little, Primary 5 or 6 maybe, needed a wee really badly on the way home, so I stopped and went for one in the bushes.

However, I was needing to go so badly, that I slipped and my elasticated waste band of my shorts snapped back on my willy, pointing it up the way, soaking my t-shirt in pee.

Not shaking the drips properly after a night time wee and getting into bed, spooning up and drying off on her nighty, especially after a beery night time wee, which may have dribbled more than normal.

NO! Not this on a Sunday night, please! This is the current bane of my life choosing the correct travel system/pram.

I’m starting to think that paying my quid for a Netto shopping trolley and doing that out might be the best option

For boys names you could have Bucky or Sol or Helium or Helios

Quirrel, you keep listening to the missus.

Apparently Lumen would be shortened to Lu when we go back to Thailand to work/stay. Lu translates into something along the lines of smelly hole, which can be a reference for a fanny.

    I still want it though.

I thought of Venus as well, but that was another no.

    Solano, another no.

I want something scientific for our kid(girl) but the missus says no. She wants Lily, which is fine by me.

First choice was Lumen, she said no to that, I like it.

If we were having a boy I would call him Kelvin, again I don’t think I would be allowed that.

Just mud, sticky sand, sticky muddy sand, sticky muddy sand with pine needles where we went today.

I was knackered within the first 10 minutes

Can we then ban chair kickers, coughers, loved up couples, people who get up and down all the time, window openers and heavy drinkers from flights?

I’m quite looking forward to taking the new arrival when it comes to see the MIL in Thailand. I will especially enjoy it knowing that I could be sat beside someone who is going to get irritated at the slightest noise she makes.

Epsom salts are more effective than rice

Heat in microwave, on a hot skillet or dry in the oven.

cool and place phone in container with salts probably best to have phone lying on something rather than in direct contact

do like the comment from quirrel though, made me chuckle

If I wasn’t such a respected pillar of society, I might mention dozing off after particularly heavy sessions when I was younger to be awoken by a strange sound, which on investigation was my teeth grinding. Nowt like gurning to remove some enamel.

    Pickup? Redneck + mullet????

If you were at Hamsterley on Sunday and saw a white pick up trying to powerslide all the way around the bush in the main carpark on the ice, that was my mates ford ranger……..he doesn’t have a mullet, but he should

My dad has a Mistibishi Outlander – more of a soft roader, but does the job.

A friend has a Ranger and loves it. Crap of fuel, but he drives it full tilt everywhere anyway. It appears to handle ok, although I close my eyes when we are drifting around corners in it.
Most importantly it doesn’t get stuck anywhere. Even when the mentalist drives along motorway embankments covered in snow to get past traffic jams caused by jackknifed lorries.

The ones I have are all wrong

The one that does fit with the correct alan key is too fat.

I found some on UK bike stores that sound like they do the job so ordered them to see.

No, but one of my colleagues did that. His name is the same as the rough coastal town near morpeth with a smack problem.

    1600′ is quite hot.

That is something that came up today.

Video stated that the temperature that nuclear fusion occurs in the stars is 10,000,000 degrees.

Student said something along the lines of “How hot is that then?” a bit of discussion on how hot that was and he wanted to know what the point was in stating something was that hot, when there was now way of us really putting it into perspective.

Which is a good point, how hot is it? 10 million degrees doesn’t really mean anything other than it’s really hot.

    Bloody swot he is

I have seen the Thermite reaction for real on the railway. It is all prepackaged moulds and mixture and a use once set. It really is dramatic.

I’ve only ever seen videos of it.

What was the finished product like? Was the join smooth?

    Xylene

my a-level chemistry teacher was brand-new at it

he (over-)did a thermite reaction and melted all the ceiling tiles and he was giggling like a kid – fantastic !

Not in the north east was it? I know a teacher that did that as well.

Erm – hot air expanding and escaping from the jar?

    You googled that. 8)

Pretty much. on the expanding air, but it’s a commonly used demonstration to show oxygen being used up……..no idea if that is the “right” thing to do, but it gets a point across.
