I pay around 6pounds per 12 hours or around 50p per hour for a qualified nanny.

It was Matt trousers who my ex-gf had her hands down, this may or may not be true.

You turn around to see your long term gf with her hands down the trousers of the guy you thought she was having a fling with on the sofa…..and then can let the guilt go that your fling is waiting for you later as well.

    That was a weird night.

Now that is a toxic combination.[/img]

Hmm even though I delayed it by one night, I think it was a poor choice to make at this point in time. T-7:00 for breakfast.

Do I go to the ambassadors house for drinks and nibbles before heading to the Shangri-la for dinner, or do I meet my old mate, and get trashed, enduring a hangover for two days and feeling sick at a conference day tomorrow?

Mine are about to be sold off in a garage clearout for the same reason, one minute I was riding along at 20mph, the next skidding on my ass towards a double decker bus

Worthy of a killer tyres thread – I’ve had some good speed up on mine, glad I never tested out the wet ability at speed.

[hijack] Looks like some of the posters have some nice work. Is anyone working in minerals, mining or materials industries and need an extra hand?[/hijack]

All well and good, unless the government goes mental, a bank goes under, the Tugrik falls 33% on the dollar, rules change, small mines close, OT stop digging, and Rio Tinto (OT) send most of their staff home.

Interesting place to live and work. Some of the most stunningly beautiful women I have ever seen, and some of most masculine men I have ever come across- one of my colleagues used to refer to the massive men as Mangolians, made her go weak at the knees. Her husband was a man mountain of khusher eating, horseback riding, wolf hunting manliness.

Why use jugs to keep it in? Just pour it down your neighbours drain at night time.

I read the thread title as – Is it possible to change my underpants?

I opened it hoping for hilarity and mirth.

^ After having an off on the road doing a u-turn in tropical down pour, I am back to my Marathon Plus 38x700c until the last of the rains are over.

Top tip – Vittoria Cross XN – great tires in the dry, on hard back, make you fall off in the rain on a wet road though. Almost as if I hit black ice.

Cable ties are banned as well, even very small ones used for locking a bag.

Last time we flew out of Newcastle, the lovely security lady apologised and took them off me.

My cable ties were about 5cm long at most, but rules are rules, and you wouldn’t want me sticking twenty of them together and handcuffing someone with them.

^ I don’t think that would get a good reception from the aircrew though

“Excuse me. You aren’t planning on shooting down this plane are you?”

    No.

Russians aren’t going to shoot down their own planes though, are they?

^ The direct flight from LHR to UBN is short, via Moscow. All other routes add a chunk to it other than the appalling Istanbul route.

Do weigh up flights not being able to land due to pollution though, if you are travelling in winter. I had staff stuck on a plane for 16 hours trying to land on the Istanbul leg – in and out over and over.

Korea idea is nice if you are going that way, but why overshoot and then head back by 3 hours simply to stop over in an airport.

Aeroflot are fine, food is ok, service is good, baggage allowance is great – $50usd per extra bag, flat rate up to 25 or 30kg.

Get into teaching, then get out of it into the admin side if you can, or go international to make some money, teach in nicer schools, and live in exotic lands.

While the idea of teaching in rural Scotland is all well and good, teaching in Antigua, where an ex colleague has just moved to, or admin role in Monaco where another is, or Shanghai, Bangkok, Syndey, Atlanta are all certainly more fun, pay generally better, and allow for less stressful holidays and that feeling of dread when returning to work.

I’ve done the UB route quite a few times.

What are you doing out there in UB?

The flight is fine, short connection in Moscow, easy to get to the transfr though, Aeroflot are not an issue on that route – takke a tablet as not TV.

Other option is through Istanbul – terrible transfer plus a stop in Bischkek to refuel.

I used to take off from UB and be home within 16 hours – it is a short flight, definitely worth doing rather than 29hours of transfers which is awful

^ It may be so, however, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t enjoy dabbing some Tobasco on there though, I think the outcome of that would be really unpleasant.

My mate used to buy cars at auction, call up his trade insurance company, and leave a message on the answering machine to insure it to drive it home.

We may or may not have abused this at times.

    “Whats that noise behind me??…”

I generally find it is zombies or Derek from next door with his cock in his hand coming out of the bushes again. I always have to remind him he is only meant to approach the dog walkers, not the cyclists.

hmm, timely thread just realised that I have a conference in Singapore coming up, business dress, 3 days, plus two evenings. Expect at least 6 changes of clothes with the sweaty weather there.

Trying to work out if I can get away with just a carry on at the moment, or if I need to go and buy myself a new suitcase with suit carrier built in.

Gumwalls though. I bought mine mostly because it was yellow, but gumwalls might have overruled that.

I’ve seen one in the flesh and it is erection inducing, it’s like a massive Raleigh Burner.

Sadly only available in M here, but the temptation to buy a carbon frame from China, buy the bike, and put all the parts on is strong, carbon and gumwalls would be a thing of pure decadence
