^ cheers that is about what I found when I last looked into it. Heating my screen up in an oven as well seemed a bit much.

    – I use my borked SP3 with digitizer turned off for general duties and a Surface 3 for work and note taking.

I toy with the idea of fixing it, but then I may as well have just bought an SP4/5 samsung or something similar.

WYSIWYG does he do Surface Pro 3?

Left Pro 3 on bed, took daughter out to Kidzania, came back, SP3 was on the floor, SP3 was behaving oddly, as I reset it I realised the digitzer was cracked – Mrs Q denied all knowledge, although admitted to putting it on the floor.

M$ quoted me a resonable 300GBP to replace, I couldn’t justify it at the time, plus MrsQ hadn’t admitted it yet

9months later, when she tried to swipe up on the screen I reminded her she couldn’t as she had broken it – finally confessed.

    Bought a Surface 3 cheap

CX bike is a garden gate http://www.wiggle.co.uk/eastway-cx20-105-2015/

Currently has a 90mm stem, cowbells fitted to it – maybe I could put the 110mm back on.

A couple of years back, I parked in one of the few electric car bays and put a ticket in the window. Never noticed it was an electric car bay only until I found a ticket stuck to the car window – parking in the wrong bay.

Pepipoo had some good advice – took some photos of the bays, took some photos of other bays the council had in the city that were clearly marked unlike this one, pointed out that they had used non-standard signage – and it was over turned.

How else do you chop one up then and feed it to the beagles? An axe?

Giant Defy’s are now around at 20% off, which makes them very tempting and half the price of the CoMax Anyroad.

I know they are a different style of bike, how will they compare in comfort to an anyroad/revolt?

The one I rode today felt very natural, and I didn’t feel as if I was too stretched out, bent over or uncomfortable. A big difference to my current CX bike which is all of that.

The carbon fiber one seems a good deal as well.

They are fast can bite twice at the same time, with venomous fangs and mouth parts. They like warm dark places like, beds or shoes A friend had one try to enter his ear when he was sleeping.

Lary angry things those are. I’ve met a few out riding and they don’t think twice about running at you. Thankfully they are small, imagine if they were sausage dog sized.

I interview a lot by Skype with people around the world.

Recently I had a lady who claimed her web camera wasn’t working and she could only Skype without it – alarm bells ring, it’s not 1995 anymore, anyway during the whole interview, every question I asked, she frantically turned pages, and then read out some answer roughly relevant to the question.

She asked later why she didn’t get the job, so I gave some helpful advice.

I have had late afternoon interviews regularly, and during one there was an incident in the car park that I had to go and deal with, asked the interviewee to hang on for two minutes while I told off a parent. Came back in to find my daughter sat at the computer talking to the person.

I was in a work call to our school in Bangkok, and having had halloween I had a selection of hats in the office. They had issues with the projector, so I was only on one persons computer, and entertained myself for the majority of the meeting changing hats over at different points when people were speaking – witches hat, pirates hat, cowboy hat and a baseball cap.

IT guy forgot to mention that the projector was up and running near the end of the meeting; I am told the witches hat was the most popular.

Would it not be better to take your mum out of the wheelchair and put her in a seat, rather than trying to fit her in the back?

I would use the moment to look deeply into her eyes and confess to sometimes pissing in the sink.

I was genuinely lost for words when he told me he about what he had said to his prospective employer. I had to stop for a few seconds and process what he had said. Had he really just told me that. After I had pointed him in the direction of the company, prepped him on things they would ask about at interview.

All done now and I have certainly learnt from the experience, so I can thank him for that.

Don’t you love the weird world of android auto text – closed eyed tit? should have been complete tit.

He got the job, told me at the end of year party, it’s either going to make or break him, I hope it is the former.

Loyalty is a strange old thing.

    So….

I was walking down the corridor, when he approached me to ask for a couple of hours off work to interview, for the same job he has been interviewed for 5 times now.

Passing pleasantries with him and authorizing yet another block of time off, he mentioned that he had told the people he was interviewing for he wasn’t interested in part of the job.

Now to put it in perspective – if he was a baker, and he was applying to work at a new bakery which specialised in bread, croissants and sticky buns, he basically told them he wanted to work for them, but didn’t want to make croissants, but would be happy to learn to make sticky buns after a year.

This was the point that I decided enough was enough. I sat him down, and gave him the cold hard facts – you aren’t cut out for this job, you aren’t flexible, you don’t listen, you haven’t adapted to the needs of us, you only can see your way to do things, and not everybody else gets it in fact the majority don’t get it.

He needs to reevaluate his career choice, why not combine it with the last career. Think of the strain you are putting on yourself, your family and your reputation.

He had the usual clueless expression on his face, there was possibly some computing going on inside his head, then THEN he says – so what you are saying is I should tell them I will make croissants too.

**** useless **** **** stained moron sheep **** close eyed tit.

But at least I gave it one last shot, although in hindsight I should have walked away on his comments about the interview.

A friend of mine has severe epilepsy, he controls it through doctor prescribed medication and vapourising skunk.

For he majority of the time he is ok, other than when the doctors play with his medication. He then will have petite malls, which are in convenient for him as they make him very tired and on edge, and can be entertaining for us as his mates.

Depending in the severity of the petite mall he can be having one mid conversation with you and you wouldn’t know it, or in my all time favourite if his awkward moments , come too im marks and Spencer’s old ladies knickers and bra section.holding on tightly to a rail if extra large bras shaking away staring into space, being asked by an old dear if he was ok, and as he continued to shake she called security on him.

But it in all seriousness it has made his life somewhat challenging myself work became an issue as he was a scaffolder, can’t work on any building sites now, can’t drive, he is on whatever the benefits are for being medically out of work, and with recent changes they have tried to send him back to work, but who wants to have hire someone who might have a small seizure and drop something on someone’s head or toe.

May I suggest, that rather than respond using the whole group cc. You should , tell all the other people via CC that you will befriend them and piss in their kitchen sink.

Carry out the task of befriending them, then send out a picture of you mid stream in their kitchen to all, including the ‘diorizerer requester’

lease, unlike so many school sites, allow pedestrian access direct to the communities.

We fence the grounds to keep the local community out, or at least stop wandering in and trying to use the swimming pool.

Its an international school, they generally have some sort of lockdown/duck & cover due to the types of kids going there.

School before this we had Rio Tinto families at it, they did a security audit of the school, and only let families sign up once we had fixed a couple of things – we did get a cool walkie talkie to be connected to the emergency radio service for disasters and civil unrest.

Our current site is a nightmare to keep secure, this year’s project is to fence in the 25 acres properly.

What’s wrong with just using the tannoy:

Old place, we just used to announce over the tannoy – lock down, lock down, lock down. easy as that.

But it had an easily accessbile microphone and tannoy system

    “Code Brown! Code Brown!”

Technically it is some speakers attached to amp around the whole site. I don’t think it has a microphone anywhere.
