going to go to delamere tomorrow with a mate who is just getting into proper offroad riding, so somewhere nearby and relatively painless is on the cards.
sunday, not sure. depends on whether the ex-gf wants to go riding; if so, either rivi or somewhere in/around calderdale i think.
i also need to make time to learn myself some VB, VBA for access, SQL and a bit more to assist with avoiding redundancy…

i recently got a box of clipper earl grey after not having had any for a while, and in that while i appear to have lost my taste for it.

my teas of choice these days are mr scruff’s yerba mate, and dragonfly organic pu’er tea.

yeah i got there right on 2 and there was pretty much a queue out of the door to get in and check the stuff out even.
oh well, i didn’t really need anything new so i guess exercising restraint was the best thing to do anyway.

i went, bought a jumper i’d liked the look of a while back, got a bit confused/overwhelmed by the rest of the stuff (i don’t need another non-bike jacket!) and so just left.
may go back tomorrow to get more, or i may not.

ice road truckers… what a let-down that was. i was expecting to see loads of trucks crashing through the ice and exploding and stuff. but no, it’s just huge bearded blokes driving at a sensible speed or whinging about not getting paid cos their trucks need fixing… rubbish.

come dine with me is great. granted, mainly for the sarcastic voiceover and the knowledge that at least one of the contestants is going to royally screw things up, but still, it’s a good watch.

i quite enjoy ugly betty though. but don’t tell anyone.

despite me telling her how comfy and well-fitting sombrio stuff always seems to be, my ex refuses to buy any for purely aesthetic reasons. she wears endura humvee 3/4s or altura synchro 3/4s exclusively.

does high clamp or low clamp make any difference?
oh, and also i’m now thinking that XT may be the way to go…

just as a back up and if I got stuck somewhere

that’s all i use mine for, and they’re ideal for such a purpose.

steve berry is the ‘drive time’ dj on rock radio (a manchester based station), and last time i listened to it he seemed intent on getting a worse rep for himself than chris moyles for being a mouthy ignorant tosser…

as long as you had fun doing it, then really that’s all that matters isn’t it… i mean, if this wasn’t fun for us, then what would be the point. so what if it looks “tame” for a DH course. i think it’d have been fun riding it.
    good work tracey.

    ha!
we did pass someone coming up that loose stone part (well, the middle of it anyway, next to a golf course?) but the upper bit with the wooden drops; those drops were like 2′ but with a 6″ lip- i guess i could ride them knowing that they’re there now (on my bouncy bike) but i can’t see how anyone could clean that part going up it…

oh sorry juan, i was kind of joking (although it is man’s fault that wolves no longer live on this island though, but let’s not get into that here!)

i guessed that was where you were talking about BH.
it was pretty quiet last sunday, but then again it was quite windy and grey…

slow is fine, i’m hardly a speed demon myself! had to push up quite a bit (especially that white rock trail up to the golf course) but it was still an enjoyable afternoon.

on that descent, how do you handle those wooden dropoffs? they were a bit vicious… are they rideable?

i can’t wait til wolves are reintroduced to the countryside.
    it’s going to be awesome.

BH, steph and i rode round one of the RL routes last sunday (through brook bottom, past new mills golf course out to the road then back along past that huge cross and back down some pretty gnarly descent to the park)… it was good fun. want to do stuff there again. soon.

    balls.
i messed up and chickened out, but hora i’d have come with you blokes if i’d known you were going later…

get a hell of a lot fitter/lighter so i can actually ride up some hills without feeling like i am going to turn inside out…

anything i do after that will be a bonus.

it’s pretty well-known that more than one AV app on a PC can cause problems with your machine…
as above, safe mode, remove the AV apps then stick on a free one such as AVG or Avast… paying for personal use AV software is unnecessary…

lowey, i’m sure i’ll be okay.

well given my utter lack of fitness and my utter disregard for having a bike better suited to riding uphills, i imagine i’ll be pushing up a substantial amount of any climbs that need doing!
but yeah, i may try to persuade my mate to come along too (on his kona stinky!) so i’m not the only idiot on a big bouncy bike…

i’ll be there if i can get a ride, and also as long as i’m back home for mid-late afternoon… and yes hora, i’ll bring that book along.
and i’ll be even further at the back than you chaps, i reckon!

due to workload and studies i need to press on with, it’s looking unlikely i’ll be out tonight chaps.
    if i’m there, i’m there… don’t wait around though.

avast is very good, but yeah AVG is good enough too and it’s still free if you upgrade to version 8.5 as stoner said…

yeah i’d say that in place of ZA your best option is to use a router with a hardware firewall built in.
can’t you just run ZA at the version it last provides win2k support though? (i diched ZA last year so not up on its functionality that much these days).

you could do a couple of loops of the whole thing plus have a play about on the ‘skills area’ thing in an afternoon, easily.
    it’s quite fun though.
park at the kingfisher centre in bacup and ride up the hill, it starts from there basically.
