Massive thumps up for Exposure lights..

Had the original Maxx D and loved it.. used for many races and evening rides and was faultless.. Moved on to the 6 pack when they first came out and at the time was silly bright.. The only downside for me was its size! They are not small on the handlebars…

Just recently my good wife bought me the new Maxx D mk8 and wow they have really moved on again… Seriously bright even on the medium setting! Have gone a bit smallER in size and weight and a nice readout display on the back..

Have had a fair few other light from exposure and their customer service also been great if any issues or queries regarding their lights.. No brainer for me :)

Cheers everyone for your comments :) totally understand t5 threads coming up often but wanted some fresh advice off fellow cyclists ;) Do a fair few events and being a family of 4 the estate with roof box and bike rack has been wearing thin! Liking the idea of everything been thrown in one big boot and plenty of room up front for the kids! Not a huge fan of people carriers :-/

Have eyed up a few to test drive and get the wife to have a proper go! Parking sensor will be a must haha

I changed mine from xd back to shimano and used the same end caps no problem (Note mine is standard QR mind) won’t have thought that would make any difference?

Ya I’ve never had an issue lifting logos off PDFs and then suppling file to decal companies to produce ;)

There are even some site offering the vector files of certain manufactors logo for free download too!

Can’t speak for the air 9 but have the new rdo version and the reason I jumped from 26″ to 29er… First one bought 2nd hand from USA but noticed it had some funny makes under the lacquer looking like finger prints so contact Niner… To cut a long story short they offered to replace the frame via jungle… 2nd to none for service! :)

Niners cracking?! Not seen one yet! Where as my old specialized s-works suffered a cracked frame and seen a few in the club ride with go back on warranty replacements :-/

Was always after a singular swift after having a go of one but I never managed to find a deal on one :-/ ended up with a ritchey p29 and not looked back :) also sporting skinwalls but in onza flavour

I’d avoid a press fit frame if I were buying new tomorrow.

Why?? I see no issue with press fit.. have to be the easiest bottom brackets to fit / remove

I would consider all my bikes as “good” but the single speed will be mostly in service during the winter months :)

Why not Ritchey’s own (Syncros) carbon fork? IMO the wide blades of the Niner look bad on anything other than an Air 9 RDO.

Ritcheys own are super expensive (as much as niner) and quite a bit heavier? And even harder to get hold of??

Earl – The forks are Charge – 511mm axle to crown (equivalent to 29″ rockshox fork at 100mm) 45mm offset… Does the job but does look long and now look for a niner fork to replace.. The hunt goes on :)

Yep ride a p29 as my hack bike… made it a ss too.. was blown away how well it rides and now looking to try and get some niner carbon forks now budget allows :) Highly rate!! Picked the frame up 2nd hand off a very nice fella on here… they are quite hard to find mind and in the retro colour way…
