ya in my experience of the old creaking noise it has either come from pedal threads that need greasing, seatpost / seatpost clamp, bottom bracket on way out, or bushes wearing out on sus!

Is it caused out of the saddle or when your sat down too?

Is this a hardtail or sus bike?

Helicopter tape will do the trick nicely ;-) Its keeping my black Santa Cruz shiny instead of scuffed.

You can order rolls in all kinds of sizes and cut to fit! 3M stuff is to look out for on ebay, web etc….

I’m in the same boat as yourself.. snapped my achilles only 2 weeks ago and having the same feelings and doing the same stuff around the house ;-(

Not looking forward to having the boot… summer is coming and all my mates are racing and getting out…. so want to be back on the bike….the feeling will be sweet i’m sure ;-)

I’m 5ft 10/11 and ride a superlight med.. fits like a glove… better than my very old santa cruz heckler med!

Def recommend rockshox reba and merlin does some good prices!

Was riding razors 2.1 for racing… super fast but in damp conditions will test your bike skills! also have nobby nics evo’s on over winter… great tyre too but wouldn’t say they are as fast rolling as razors, super grippy!

Mate of mine broke 2 frames in the space of a year… first snapped at the bottom bracket in dalby forest… going up hill ;-) and the second frame snapped on the rear stay… was given carbon one for his third and all the bearing went in that frame!!! def crap bike and scott were not very helpful.

For me it has got to be last year at the Sleepless in the Saddle… been injuried for the last 6months with knee ligament damage ;-(

Recommend the G Shock G-9200…. have had so long the 10 year battery has just been replaced!! also have a G Shock Mudman… Both do the job nicely ;-)
