There is no existing plastic coverboards, so nothing to take off except for existing guttering. I only want plastic coverboards over the existing wooden fascias/soffit, with new guttering as well.

btw this quote was from a local builder.

    Rough lengths are

    1) Fascia / soffit – 57m (includes dormer)

    2) Barge / soffit – 27m (there is an extension on the side of the bungalow)

    3) guttering – 50m (with 4no downpipes)

Caffeine will activate the fight or flight response. So if your anxious anyway..,,,

My 2p worth is that there is more job stress today as well, targets, performance reviews, kpi’s, remote access to emails, much more accountability and blame and so on with less people to do the jobs.

I thought it was excellent, way OTT, but still enjoyable. Made me realise how important family is seeing only Meghans mum there from her side.

I can also see how we got here and i guess its just as much a political warning to Russia as it was for Syria.

While you are highly stressed it will be difficult. Treat the cause first.

Enjoyed it until the last episode, where characters built up in the series completely dissappeared.

I think you should expect and be allowed to defend your own home. From what i gather the weapon was the burglar’s? More than likely a struggle happened and the burglar got off worse.

Unless something is being held back by the police, i cannot see a jury convicting him of murder.

Ive got no dependants but have a life insurance through work.

I did look at redundancy cover, but the majority only pays out for 12 months and you usually cannot claim for the first three months, So in effect you’ll only get 9 payments. imo i wouldnt bother and try and keep the equivalent in savings to one side.

I did get critical illness cover, it will cover my mortgage if i couldnt work because of serious illness.

Just seen these online today, but the X01 reserve in the uk is £6900, so £1500 ish more than in the US.

A bit too much for me so back to the dawing board then.

You have to let feelings be and let them go. They will  go away themselves if you dont fight them with your mind. You just accept the anxious feelings for what they are, a reaction to your current stress levels.

Its an access road so I doubt very much that the council would cut it.

I think the previous owner cut it as they have put a lower gate in as well.

Id like it to be 6 to 7 ft.

Doubt it was the neighbour as it is backing onto a road.

It will be a bedroom. Think Ill take the plasterboard down, insulate between the vertical joists and over it.

Surly its accidental and an insurance job. What if she accidentally burned the house down, say cooking dinner, would she have to pay for a new house?

Maybe there is some chronic anxiety lurking under there? Must have been an extremely stressful time for him. Most of the symptoms you describe could be caused by it.

However if he is having convulsions and because of the tumour I think he’d be better off asking his consultant.

    Hope he finds his answer.

I think you’d be best relaxing and just letting it go – she is your wife and not your neighbour

The section to be insulated is the flat ceeling of a dormer rooms. Id prefer to do it from the inside otherwise I can see a scaffold being required.

There are two bedrooms and a landing to insulate, guessing about 30 to 35m2.

Would I need ventilation underneath with the battens? Or just put 50mm celotex in the lower half if the roof joist, leaving 50mm gap in the top 50mm. Then screw 30mm celotex plasterboard underneath joists?

In essence “it is what it is”.

“Thinking and ruminating” that it should be another way is the problem. And then trying to force that change rather than let it happen naturally.

Accept it for what it is. If you feel fatigued – you “feel the fatigue”. No fighting it, otherwise you can end up fighting it forever!

I’d be surprised if the council would leave children go to school to expose them to this flaking artex paint. They have their own H&S department.

Get your anxiety looked at as well, analysis = worrying = is of no help = feeling sh** mentally and physically. Just stop believing your anxious thoughts and let them, and the feelings they produce, go,

Yeah it shows your mother and brother care. So will your kids.

Whilst it looks bad now, it will get better. Focus on positive things in your day, even if you find it difficult.

The benefits system is a joke in this country imo, considering the foreign aid, brexit payments etc we make instead.

If I found gold I think I’d keep it quietly in my basement. The Queen would only invest it in an offshore account or use it to pay for Harry and Meghan’s wedding.

As some one above said, I’d want her to also provide a medical note before taking her seriously. Thinking something can be totally different to actually being something.

As above, sounds like jealousy rather than anxiety.

But the root cause in both is fear?? (Fear of loosing you/you cheating etc, hence jealousy).

Solution is to ignore the jealousy as it raises, allowing the thoughts and feelings be, but not taking them seriously. Consciously changing her current reaction will eventually get rid of the jealousy??. Just because you feel something doesnt mean you have to go down the old habitual reaction/route.

Get it checked out to be safe.

However anxiety can cause those symptoms as well. Twice when I had anxiety disorder I wad rushed to hospital, when all it was was just anxiety.

From experience you can never beat anxiety and panic by fighting the symptoms and trying to control them. Medications may help mask them for a short while.

To desensitize to your fear you will have to ride your anxiety out. Let the feelings and symptoms come up. Feel the anxiety without consciously negatively reacting to it. By exposing over time you will desensitise until your fear is then gone. When the fear is gone, all the physical and mental symptoms associated with that fear disappears.

Not easy but if I can do it then I cant see why you cannot.

Thanks, just noticed your response. The planning permission refers to it as a transportation site. They have been keepin hgv there and there has been no problem with them. Its only when he’s subcontracted an area within the site to a refrigeration business that the problem has started.

To be honest the environmental health person hasn’t been much help. I think he’s looking for loud noises. The humming is just a hum, all the time.

Do you know of any retrospective powers the council may have to make the owner fit some kind of noise barrier?

All the best in finding your bike. I’m probably too far away to help, but may be worth you keeping an eye on ebay, pinkbike etc..

Did someone steal the bike off you whilst you were riding it in June?

I enjoy the boxing but even that is ppv now on sky. So basically £80/month, ppv extra and you have to endure adverts as well. Cancelled sky last month but have a nowtv box that I will use for movies/entertainment over the winter and cancel in the spring.

Got to go with who’s won it the most, Schumacher. Although a lot depends on who you know in the industry (to give you the best car), who your team mate was (not competetive!) etc.

I always liked Senna, I think in a like for like car he may well have beaten Schumacher. Just an opinion though – same as with Ali the greatest boxer of all time.
