My Dad (82) is a keen cyclist, had a hip done last year- totally transformed his life, had to lay of the cycling for quite a few months though due to lifting the knee above the hip action, back on the bike now and walking fine too

It’d be a lot easier to land a chopper there now the FC have logged a 1 mile radius of the resevoir

Not FC its private land – common myth please support friends of the hurtwood as we need more bikers to join!

Hope he’s all right, not a spot for a newbie if thats what he was.
Why not? There’s a little roll in at the top, which has got a bit cut up in the last few months, but I’d say it’s a great trail for folk to learn on.

Please lets not do this again!

There are still plenty of plantations around if you want to ride through rows of pines

    For now anyway….

Heathland supports more wildlife/promotes more biodiversity than pine trees.

But you can see the MTB trails more easily!

I bloody love the Surrey Hills. I’m going to take Thursday off and go and hound myself round there on my lonesome in the sunshine. Bliss.

Hopefully you are a friend of the Hurtwood then! 🙂 we need more bikers to join

    Couger

    Nice try but nope
when i auto detect it goes to unicode which is what it waas set to originally.

I thought i may not have the font but it works fine in FF and safari

its just the red headed news page not the main white one which is fine.

our connection speed here can be pretty shonky so i was thinking it might be to do with that but ??????

No biggy I’ll cope somehow (or maybe do some work!)

In Sweden the postie collects the post as well as delivers, This seems far too logical – if we did this then the cost is acceptable IMO

I just thought your comment about Howard over charging people was uncalled for.

+1 No one forces you to buy anything, Peaslake is a better place with Howard running P&S
