Chappie is cheap for a reason and it’s not all due to the quality of the ingredients. The Chappie recipe has been pretty much the same for ever so there are few if any R&D costs or marketing costs compared to the premium brands where they’re constantly looking for the next Whizzo ingredient to add which will make your dog be faster, happier and healthier for longer. Each new whizzo means a new product and subsequent marketing campaign. Chappie is pretty much a cash cow which requires very little work to generate satisfactory profit.

Why faff about moving services if you don’t need to?

Depends on the space in your kitchen if you can use extra wide work tops or not.

Installed a Jewson kitchen in my last house. My one and only experience of installing a kitchen but everything was fine and was really pleased with the results. Was very happy with the price I paid and the quality.

Didn’t use Ikea as the lack of service void behind the units would have caused me problems and have friends who struggled with this problem too.

    Try

    tgic-online.com
    jsinsurance.co.uk
    coverforyou.com

Think insureandgo will also cover it for an extra premium

We used jigsnreels.com. Told them what we wanted and where and they recommended one of their groups. The weddings involving ceilidh bands have been the best weddings I’ve been to.

I’ve used RS Plumbing and Heating 01313313827 to fix and service our boiler with success (we’re on oil). He’s a good talker but his works good and prices reasonable.

Have also used Colin Campbell 01313191944 to do some plumbing and was happy with the work and prices. He was just getting into mountain biking when I dealt with him!!

They’re both based on South Queensferry side of town so may depend on where you are

Just as you leave Kirliston (at the “thanks for driving carefully sign”) there is a road on the left (Lochend Road)which brings you out on the A8 on the town side of Newbridge junction. Then just follow the A8 all the way to the Gyle. Alternatively in Kirkliston after the cross roads take the left on the bend (Station Road) which takes you down to a cycle path which goes to newbridge junction.

Thanks for your helpful comments. Will try dismantling the mech and see if filling it with grease gets it moving again. Don’t think she’ll go for the single speed idea but will see what she thinks of twisty shifters.

Still no idea about the cause as its probably done less than 50 miles on road so don’t think tar could be gumming it up. Would be surprised if its pressure washer related as its only been through a trail centre bike wash about 3 times in 18 months – rest of the time it gets sponged down with car shampoo. Will check it for strightness to see if she’s bashed it on a rock somewhere – she does quite like clobbering rocks!!

    Cheers

The pivot at the top of the cage is very stiff so the cage doesn’t move back when moving to a higher gear. I’ve got it soaking in diesel at the mo to try and ungum it.

No, they would have restarted the tendering process
