Those seam welded clear plastic packaging you get on some smaller items from shops to avoid anything coming out of them.
Usually it takes a hacksaw and chisel to cut the 3mm thick plastic and will result in injury in the process.

Most people drive about 80 on a normal stretch of motorway as they are aware that 70 is the limit.

Larger Plasma is marginally cheaper than similar spec LCD.
LCD is a lighter weight unit in comparison but that only matters when lifting it.
Freesat fitted is worth looking at if you have sat connection,free HD channels.
Full HD is the only option to avoid dissapointment,until Super HD arrives that is 🙂

Noticed that the rear felt a little lighter, almost like it was over-steering a couple of times, put it down to new tyres

This made me think about when I got some new tyres fitted to my car and it also felt light/twitchy at rear.
Tyres were branded and same spec as originals and all looked fine.
I had the feeling that they may have been uderinflated but a visual check said otherwise so I checked the pressure anyway 65 PSI 😯 they should have been 30.
Dozy c*** at tyre place got sacked for it after I complained.So may be worth checking.

Olly – TI is softer than steel so heads will round more easily

A bit of generalising there.
Titanium is on par with stainless steel so can range from hard to soft.
Steel can be soft or very hard so "softer than steel" doesnt really make much sense tbh.
Bolts are measured in tensile strength eg. 8.8 standard high tensile or 12.9 at top end of the scale.
Stainless is A2 (304) to A4 (316) the latter being better although I am not sure on tensile strength.
As for titanium it is the grade which determines tensile strength and there is alloys of titanium also.Not sure about any of them but you get the picture.
