I like my log splitter and the thought of swinging an axe instead of using it seems like hard work.

Used this company to transport bike to a very particular buyer and cant fault the service.
Whereas some who I have dealt with were a bit, well not as good.

Buyers will also get a limited-edition Guy Martin gift pack, and each van will be numbered with a piece of the actual wall of death that Martin used to set a new world record speed of 112mph.

Worth every penny for that alone! 🙂
I’m sure Guy has first one for free so fair play to him.

    2) ankle support – TBH a lightweight boot doesn’t really provide much of that anyway, if you really need it you’re better off with a proper support or taping.

    This.

6 months on from recovering from broken ankle and surgery mostly due to using a lightweight boot.

Have to move machinery on a regular basis for machine shop I work for and have used all sorts of methods to do so.What type of lathe is it?
Going up that slope is hardest part but using skates would be a disaster on that.
My idea would be to take it off pallet use some bar either on a rolling method or skid method and winch it up drive if you can find suitable fixing point for said winch.Worst case where winch rope snapped it would only move a few feet at most. The step I would lift it up a bit at a time until level with where its going and then move it rather than a ramp.
The same round pathway but without winch and use pinch bar to inch it along.
May take a while but it will get there.
Or get a big crane to do it.

I really like the look of the V7 Racer, only thing that put me off is the polished look tank is actually plastic. I know it should not matter but it kind of did for me

Only plastic for the first few years then metal thereafter.I think the racer is a bit OTT in the styling department to be honest.
All the V7s are the exact same just in different disguises.

Bought a Guzzi V7 cafe racer after passing my test and loved it but it is harder work than a newer sportsbike or the likes.
Took my V7 to Isle of Man on TT week and there weren’t that many passing me on the mountain course and it was fast enough for me at the time.
Makes you appreciate bigger bike when you upgrade, easy to work on, shaft drive, adjusting valves etc. and my one was pre ABS but that wasn’t an issue.

Edd was the program and although Mike’s a bit of a tosser the show did work well but maybe ran out of steam a bit so Edds probably seen the light.
He can now come and fix my car anytime, especially at his rates.

    Its all about pacing yourself.
I ride about 30 miles once or occasionally twice a week.Try and get a few 50 or 60 mile rides in several weeks before and it will help.

Machine shop manager, like the job but not as much as I used to.
Other people who have little or zero skills taking all the profit and doing very little or nothing in return sort of demoralises your efforts.
I guess most other jobs have similar issues.

What’s the clearance like on the rear wheel?

Plenty, just wanted to up the size all round as much as possible to make it more comfortable.
Possible carbon fork upgrade to take a bit of the shock.

    Off it goes then!
Unless I can find fork that suits it better although that’s not so easy to buy one then find out I have same issues.
    Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Stamped out by a press tool so rounded edge is stamped side.
Doesn’t matter which way it goes but my OCD for things like that would put rounded edge at top.

Lying in bed typing this with plaster cast on my leg after hill-walking incident which has resulted in fractured ankle in 3 places.
As most have said already go and get it checked as break may not be obvious and from what consultant tells me you will have 14 days before it is too late to repair damage.

On recent Traffic Cops tv show the driver of a car was found to be over the alcohol limit by about 4 times.
Strangely though he was also several times the limit for cannabis and several times the limit for cocaine?
When did they introduce safe limits to drive with either, I was under impression it was an almost zero tolerance?

So that smell of burning metal.

Angle grinder abrasive wheels smell being used, the metal doesn’t.
As for brakes it is the pads material that smells which is sort of similar to clutch lining for those that can`t drive properly
35 years in engineering has taught me this.
