I wonder how RCUK would handle a MTB thread in the “bikes” forum?
I understand STWs position though. Unfortunately/embarrassingly for them the site has been swamped by roadies and they need the traffic so its unlikely they’ll do anything about it.

So it’s a mountain bike site without a mountain bike forum?

TdF generates so much discussion because frankly there’s so much to talk about, good and bad, its the perfect armchair/office athlete’s sport (and I include myself in that depressing little group).

I think it has more to do with the fact that this site full of roadies.
Singletrack needs to change its name or limit the road based threads. There’s plenty of road forums, why can’t members talk roadie on those and MTB on here?
Before anyone says it, this is not a “cycling” forum. It’s called Singletrack and it’s about MTBing.

They won’t give you a great deal IMO. Try biketart for a better deal or wait for the 2012 models to come in and the 2011s are reduced.
