Barbars in the poop following breach of C19 bubble. They are now looking for players, and Bris have been subject to the most recent testing.
If prem rugby allows is, there is a chance that the Barbars could be well stocked with Bears.
If that happens, I will 100% be supporting the Barbars vs England.
A combo of Barbars, Bristol and England for me is just too good to be true. I’m just a *little* bit excited (pee actually came out when I heard).

I’d love to find another 1995 Cinder Cone, just to see if it was as good as I remember. Snapped a chainstay in the end, got a warranty frame replacement, but sold it once I’d built it up. Still have the Project 2 forks hung up in the workshop for some reason.

I’ll try and get a picture of mine up tomorrow. It was my lockdown obsession!

Do you mean last 5mm of travel at top of legs or on initial compression?

The last 5mm when the fork is returning.

I’ve had people telling me I’m too old for air jordan 1’s.
They were released in 1983 FFS!

Anyone noticed the last 5mm returning slower than the main travel?
I’m aware it has a mini-spring but should the transition between air and coil not be more seamless?

Regiment engraving on the back which immediately gets sent to a dealer and sold to a walt for a huge mark-up perchance?

Sort of, it has a custom dial so a bit more than just the engraving.
Who knows where it will end up? Could be sold to a collector (more likely) or a walt (I’m dubious that a walt will spend that much personally but you never know!).
I don’t know of any of these which have been sold. To my knowledge all are still with the rightful owners.
Mine is for my boys, with a bit of luck they get a few quid for it when I’m gone. I care more about that than I do who it ends up with!

On the G-shock; sorted! Thanks @IHN, much appreciated!

I need a new g-shock. My youngest got his “adventurous” hands on mine and I’m convinced its buried in the garden. Digi only, does anyone know of any deals around by any chance?

Oh yes I also commissioned a pretty special Tudor; they did 59 of them for a group of us. I have issue 1, it’ll never be worn.

Mine arrived today. I love the DT “way”. The design is fantastic, I have high hopes for these. Thanks to the group for the tip off.

Are you new here? Half the folk on this forum can’t even set up a front mech.

Doesn’t this reinforce the point of doing a course?

And it’s out! Pry bar did it in the end. Forgot what a friendly place this was (for the main part anyway, the usual pen’s still around I see). Now for the sanctuary of hollowtech.
    Thanks to everyone else!

Nothing wrong with rugby scholarships, I wish there were many, many more. I coach a kids team and we have he entire cross section; privately educated kids, kids from state schools on not so nice areas etc. Black, white, Asian, mixed race, English, Jamaican, south African, welsh. It’s awesome that these kids mix. If I can in some small way help any of them get a rugby scholarship I’d be absolutely over the moon.

So who will England pick next? Daly at full back doesnt work for me.

Lots of very good players champing at the bit. Couldn’t agree more about Daly. He’s been actual rubbish.
Youngs, Cole, Marler, Lawes, Wilson, Heinz
In 4 years time, Manu, JJ, Farrell, May will be 32/33. Jeez, even Nowell will be 30! Some of the other forwards will be too, but they could probably wear it.
Someone needs to sack up now and look at properly bringing in the likes of Tompkins, Ibitoye, Randall, Thorley, Smith, Lewington, Lawrence, etc etc.

To add to A_a’s list, wales would be mad not to start brining in Ion Lloyd. Dan Thomas is worth a look too, he’s been fantastic for bris and Tips will be 34 when the next RWC rolls around.

NZ don’t, yet they seem to be able to keep finding excellent players.

And of course it’s utterly irrelevant. China have more people and soccer players than any other nation. People can’t seem to get their hear around the fact that it’s about far more than numbers. It’s a sad, tired old rationale.

Can’t complain at the result and 2nd best team on the planet isn’t too shabby. I worry slightly for the home nations potential, I fear englands light will fade and the remainder aren’t in great shape. Unless France can pull their finger out, we will be in for more SH dominance.

I truly hope that company does the decent thing and pays all money back immediately. That pinkbike article was a shitshow ad showed them to be the screamers they really are. Hopefully the sickness is terminal for that company.

when the entire country is bankrupt.

As someone said on another thread – we need an informed electorate for democracy to work properly. If people are just going to make stuff up it will end badly – especially now communication is so fast (e.g. see Ch4 report on Leave.UK fake films of migrants)

Yeah. Anyone who doesn’t see what I see is I’ll informed :!
Stupid shit like this is the most divisive.

I’d vote for anyone ahead of Corbyn and his lot, and anyone to keep them out. Social conscience is one thing but the poor will be a lot poorer when the entire country is bankrupt.

Tbh I’m not spending £300+ on a nearly 4 year old fork, so that’s not a path I’m willing to go down I’m afraid.
If it came to that if still and buy something else. I love the chassis and rate of the 36, it’s just the old harshness thing.

I had the exact same dilemma. I bought an MRP ribbon coil. After a dropper post it’s the single best upgrade I have ever put on a bike. It might not be for everyone, but I have found a monumental improvement in my riding.

Oh fark. I never met Mark, but I did follow his story and was humbled and inspired by his spirit and grit. I can only hope I’d be as brave if faced with that kind of challenge, his family should be very proud of him.

Bullshit. He’s every bit as dirty as the pair of them. You can like it, or you can not like it. Lee’s in the same park, his record is far more convincing than some casual mountain biking rugby fan might think. He’s a full on ****, the main difference is that he’s not as good as sinkler or Healy.

    wrecker

he’s exactly as dirty as sinker is and just as much of an arsehole.

Bollocks, bollocks and more bollocks. Sinkler is no angel but Lee has been done for head butting and Healy for all sorts (he is a dirty bastard). Sink is no worse than either, like it or not.

    Quite. He’s a proven shithouser

bollocks. he’s no more a shithouse than S.Lee and far less so than the likes of that shorty little fuckunt irish prick.
England kicked it away all day and ignored their clear physical advantage. It’s the same old failing to think on their feet. Pretty narrow win all things considered though.

A couple of the best players in the team missing, combined with a poor display away from home will bring a display like that. Not the end of the world.

Got an ACS3, the Smashpot fork I tried was better. Less harsh on deep bottom outs – but controlled. There is no bounce from deep compressions that you get with air forks or the ACS3 – and the 20 clicks of bottom out adjustment let you dial the travel you are using to within millimetres. The fork I tried them on has been transformed by going to coil.

My RC2 Fox’s are not harsh with my AC3 in them at all though.

The Cable Creek Helms have a much more heavily damped tune, the helm we have had also had more problems that RS or Fox. Maybe you run your Fox’s to open an create harshness that way.

Great info, thanks. I have spent a fair amount of time setting up my RC2s. The chap at sprung commented that I had set them up pretty well as they go but I’m still not happy, even with the tokens added. I’m on a HT and I’m not a small dude so I want my fork to feel great. Only yesterday I took 5psi out and dialled off the LSC and HSC. I don’t really get arm pump but I do know that a fork can feel a lot better than mine do (such as the cane creek Helm I tried). I’m erring towards the smash pot. Just holding off in case I decide to go 29.

Chainline, I don’t suppose you know if I can get 29 wheels on a 2017 Argon GLF? I know it’ll take 650B+ so wondered what will fit in the rear, and if the BB height would still be acceptable?

If all the forks you try are harsh, maybe it’s not the forks….

That’s not what I said. Maybe read it again?
That’s good to hear rich, thanks.

don’t worry about mike, he’s a bitter little man.
avy is a no – too expensive, and i have had pikes before. They were OK but I think I’m after coil. must be too awesome for air like the thousands of other riders in the market for all of these coil options……..

obvs doesnt relate to santa cruz directly but certainly show that allow vs carbon is negligible .

Noel Buckley is likely as skilled an engineer as you will find anywhere in the bicycle industry. He held back from doing carbon for a long time, as he would only want it if it was done right. I seem to recall him having the opinion that only SC were doing it right at the time. If Knolly are doing carbon, you can bet your backside it’ll be ****ing good carbon.

Without a ball carrier at 8 our attack with the forwards is ineffective.

Compared with Billy, most are but he’s still a class player. I rate him better than Stander too.
