I got the 719’s due to being 14 stone, and bending wheels, they are a little heavier but not that much. I would say 717 would be okay for the gf though, unless she’s a big lass! 8O

i did a road event that started at barnoldswick last year. stunning scenery but some of the hills are sickening! would be quite interested in the merida at barnoldswick miself
