On custom 60’s here with DT 240 disk hubs, used on that faithful wet and very windy 3 Peaks race. Making the turn on the top of Inglebrough was like hoisting an asymmetric on a RS800 Never turned a pedal across the summit plateau the bike just flew. I have seemed to adjust to being pushed around in cross winds very quickly I just don’t notice anymore. Go big they look really cool on the bike the performance thing is nothing to worry about unless your a contender….I am not.

Its if you buy anything it has some sort of plastic film, Inner bit of a cereal box is always plastic its that kinda stuff I am talking about. Any lose veg & fruit you are required to put it to plastic.

Golf GTD here and the result is more clatter at low revs and reduced MPG roughly 4/5 no loss in performance.

My 7 year old has one and enjoyed it a great deal but it’s not best suited for long rides as it’s more than a bit draggie for her. Her bike has had lots of envious looks and comments. It will be going soon as she wishes for a cx bike and it’s now two small for her.

A week in southern Spain reduced a new Hans Dampt to shreds (Trailstar 24 psi on the rear) had more than a few holes in the carcass and most of the knobs gone yet the Maxxis and Specialized tires on the trip looked fine at the end of the week.

“Sorry, podium or not, it’s not a race.
Plus, I don’t get why you’d treat a sportive as a race, if you want to race go and enter a local crit or do the local club TT. That way you know the people you beat are actually racing and not just on a nice ride out.”

Totally this. Thinking your Peter Sagan when all your actually doing is going for a ride with people on hybrids, MTBs etc that’s not a race.

Enjoyed every thing I saw ….. Recorded it as I was actually riding a bike when it was on, 22mins and they shifted on to another channel so missed the rest #nothappy

Had this a few times, just ride it up the road and it sorts its self out with in a few hard pedal strokes.

Froome has raced with real style and class this tour, Its not been the normal Sky procession its been proper racing nothing for any one to boo about. I was quite annoyed at the booing. The crazed tribalism of football is starting creep in. What next cycling fans fighting on the slopes and in the bars?

Should change the stickers to “Husband and Wife livid”.That certainly put a smile on my face. But in all seriousness I posted on here because I spend most of my time on here as I like the diversity and the collective knowledge that most contributors on the site have and enjoy people’s points of view though I don’t always agree (its the Singletrack forum after all) + I ride bikes a lot.Never really crossed my mind to post on the landy forums. Umm might just do that. Resigned to the fact that my money has been stolen, Just want to stop anyone else getting stung by Ryan Stott.

Fully expected to be under the bonnet every weekend with mine, fully aware of all the quirks of landrover ownership but I am not accepting one with a bent chassis especially as Ryan Stott tried to palm me off with it, he clearly knew it was no good and thought he could get away with it which it looks like he has in a round about way.

Ryan Stott was totally unrepentant at the creditors meeting, I asked him as the chairman / director of a business in difficulty how he managed to go to Florida for two weeks. His reply was if his partner chooses to take him away that was up to her. Now I am sure that it was my money that was used but he missed the point entirely, He should have been working his a** off to get things back on track. If he is running Land Rover restorations LTD or Rossindale Agricultural Services it’s all going to be a sorry mess again. Legalised theft is what it is I am £8000 pounds down and have no defender. Steer clear of Ryan Stott.

Rossendale Agricultural Services, beware farmers… God help the farmers if they are dealing with Ryan Stott…
Its the creditors meeting tomorrow in Manchester, I do think a change in the law is required as this happens to many times with people hiding behind LTD company status.
Close it all down when things get too sticky and restart again under a new trading name, Leaving a trail of people out of pocket.

Bent enough for my independent Land Rover man/ fixer to say you need to take that back now and ask for your money back. I thought that a spring had broken on the front NS until my man had had a look at it, Then it was game over for my bank account.

Mine has a MOT it all worked it had a few defects but it is 10 years old and so I can accept some thing’s are not going to right.
Its just the bent chassis that I wasn’t going to accept.

15 mins through town to ride out on to open fell and the rest of the Lakes, often can’t belive how lucky I am for all the riding options In the area. Road stuff is good as you can do 50 miles and have hardly a car pass.
