hi mate, I have a five its an amazing amazing bike and I love it. my mate has a C heckler, I just cant get on with it at all really dont like it, and (can you see where this is going!!)he really doesnt get on with my 5 so in short mate test ride!!!!!!! either way we both really rate our choice of bike so dont think you'll go far wrong!!

I started to wear orange lenses by default my clear ones are well scrached!!!! and I find them fab in the woods or dappled light realy make things clearer. Tried them at night too and they were good too but I'll stick with my new clear lenses. really bright days though I do wear proper sunnie lenses.

I have addidas glasses you can put a script insert in and then you just change the outher lense if your script changes its far less to change the inner lenses than say with oakleys where you change the whole pair of glasses really rate these.

FFS any light frame will be mashed up if hit by a car Carbon is not as Sh**E as it made out, its used on stuff from jet fightes to F1 cars. Also a lot of these are light or cheap road bikes, I dont have an issue with carbon worked on carbon Yachts seen them take huge impacts. By the same reasoning you build really light ie only strenghten in areas where known loading will happen ie BB head tunbe and it gets a Toyota in the down tube then it will go.

We stayed at cambridge villas a few times no wash facilities but a clean comfy room and a good brekkie in the am in the centre of town. I like it ist en-suite etc not flash though….iun fact fancy another lakes trip my self!!!

What bike do you have mate??? I had that issue with my 5 when i first got it but now they are few and far between. you do learn to avoid these but it takes a little while. (I take it this is on the way down not up :D :wink: and your running the right amount of sag etc???)

Ed-o I though that middle finger braking was to do with reducing arm pump it uses a different muscle group in your fore ar or something?

I can’t do middle finger braking I end up two finger braking so my brakes are in board to force me to use only my for finger!!

I think they are stopping doing the 454’s in favour of the revs now though??

HAve been working on this its the one trick type skill I really want to be able to do. so far have ended up on my a*se a few times and now am grabbing too much brake but its coming on!! Tips so far….learn on grass!!! and the balance is about where your rear hub is.. ie further back than you would think!!!

I have them think they are really good mate these are from last year so are “just M4’s) But i prefer them to my juicy sevens and xt discs every time.
