LOL at stone monkey! I'm at a stage in life where I can afford nice kit and I have treated myself, cant ride as much as my kids are young but I do have two nice bikes one with xtr carbon frame etc. TBH all the bills are paid and I dont like some of my mate pi$$ £50 week up against the wall I buy bike bits maths are easy then!!!

I dont mind being passed by a ridgid SS guy at glentress (massive respect to pixel mix mega GNARL 8) ) got cained by a dude at afan on a hard tail when I was on my five I just though wow he's a wicked rider. dont care what you ride if your chilled basically!

havent really sat down to read the mag yet but I agree its one I tend to sit down with after the kids go to bed with a beer and enjoy bit like a good book. TBH I think the mag is a victim of its own sucess we get excellent so often bloody brilliant seems a drop even when its miles a head of the other mags.

We go to Cp once a year two kids under three and find it great, usually winfell. Never had an issue, but agree that t can be cold there need to ramp the heating up for the kids. I do find that after about two days we go out to the lakes etc but I like the park the car and leave it of CP plus that the kids are free to swim walk about with out getting killed by a car bikes is another matter!! we get good deals as we never go in the hols as the kids are too small though it can be madly expensive in the summer and 1/2 term but we would go there then maily a winer spring hol 4 us.

…this is Wookie's wife! Have sabotaged his account!!! I think our main worry is that Hamsterley hasnt had great reviews on the forums in the past. The plan is definately to aim at the all-round outdoor activity market but with particular facilities for mountain bikers. I guess our questions to you guys are a) is there much demand for accomodation around Hamsterley in the mountain biking world (we are too biased as its near where I grew up and we love it!!!) and b) How much do you expect to pay for basic accomodation?

DJ, multiple places each with own facilities…but shared work shop dry room common area maybe? not expecting to be rich!

I think so mate worked before in simlar type of industry (yachts) I think the over all package life stlt wise is better for kids Mrs and me…dont tend to do summer hols any way!!

Intresting this topic eh!?! Always like mint and its the first bit of the mag I read. I like it as a comment on mountain biking people etc think its clever.

My favrotie one last year had mint out for a ride in the rain and mud etc when he gets home there was an answer phone message from summer? really made me smile!! I look at it that £4 a month for mint when you get a free bike mag attached is well worth it!!!
