Yep…..many many times! Made me quit for a bit when I found riding stressful on some of the bigger stuff we were riding I needed to relax and ride how fast I wanted too! Still back now and happy to slide down stuff having let the bike go on a solo mission!! 🙂

Yep same here, took my MTB out two weeks ago it pedalled crap handled like a battle hovercraft and the riding position felt pants too!! That’s what a year of CX and road riding does fr you Fittness through the roof skills have gone on the tetchy techy stuff! Noticed that trails I’d pedal like mad on my HT I was really twitchy on my FS. Practice I reckon!! What an excuse to get out!! 😆

Yep every day but off when I come home. Drives me nuts if I forget to put it on in the morning. Not a jewerly person at all no watch, etc Mrs W not worried if I forget to put it on, but I like what it symbolises I guess………

I’d save a few quid, it’s a good way to see if you have the spare cash with out any commitment plus the baby will take up lots of time for a few months til you can carve out some you time.

Biggest tip though save up for a bike and as a treat go get Jedi-ed cheaper than a new bike but you’ll ride so so much better for it mate!

Had this from new mate (avid brakes you see!! 😉 ) Took two bleeds but been no issues since.

They are flexy in the lever compared to say hopes but you won’t notice that while riding. Chill it’s a good buy.

Waterford do stainless road bikes, stunning any they will hold together!! The thing is cost you can build a bike for any price!! but working with SS is difficult to do right so the cost is high also as high as good Ti. so it’s as much how it’s built as what it’s built from IMHO.

We looked at them yesterday!! But found that the sainsburys policy was the same as we had with M&S inc bikes but was load cheaper so went with them instead.
