It’s impossible to get some tyres on unless both beads are in the centre first time mate. But you can do it!

I don’t think there is much doubt that clips are not the most effective way to get the power down so are an advantage. I really don’t think any top DH’er is worried about being clipped in. To race at that level you don’t have any doubts or concerns over being clipped in, it’s your day job.

For me, as a chap who’s got to work Monday am, and has less bottle than a dolls house drinks cabinet with two kids at home Ill worry myself out of stuff. That I can do or have done before clipped in or not or if I feel like it or not.

Nice vid mate, lovely bike. What’s the advantage over a CX bike though? ( not being a tool here by the way) I live my CX for everything from a blast to a spin. If it just because then great stuff all bikes are good!!

Ah, I’m not sure that I have lost respect for LA, he is/ was an awesome rider lets be honest about it. He was the tail end of an era (hopefully) when the Tech of doping was far ahead in terms of performance enhancement and testing. LA was a business man that was part of he job IMHO he excelled at all elements of the sport both the legal and illegal and pushed he boundaries on both fronts and in the science of training too to a greater or lesser extent. With the extent of the back dated medical cert he was never caught out at the time.

I think landis Hamilton maybe struggled with the mortality more esp when caught and if you look at landis he destroyed himself and a few others because of the crash when caught.

Another great book is from Lance to Landis well well worth a read.

If its a five then I’d try the QR, I tried the BB, replaced the bearings, tightened everything still there one day when ranting about it on a climb my mate suggested the QR a tiny dab or grease tightened it up =stealth Five ( well as silent as one can be!!! 🙂 )
