Yeah you could be right. I’m sure he has suspicions that are probably more informed than ours. I’d be really surprised if he was willing to voice such an unpopular opinion so soon after the successes, it’d be PR suicide.

I don’t agree with the second part, going for LA was significantly more risky at the time, personally and politically. Just reading Walsh’s latest book now and it’s apparent that the change in both their outlooks from the beginning to end.

I think Kimmage and Walsh have their place, they’ve pushed a message that no one wanted to hear, and been proven right.

I think it’s a shame that Kimmage has fallen out of love with the sport, it’s riders and us fools who still participate, and dream in it. But maybe that’s the price he’s paid to make it better, but it’s because of that he and Walsh can dig, I won’t say be Objective…..as I don’t know if either will ever watch and enjoy with out questioning?

I hope so much, and think that wiggins is clean, it looked belivable, it was a flat tour (as in no dramatic sections, it was a cagey affair no one took any risks) and that was good. Maybe the era of dramatic attacks by GC riders are over for cycling?

I’d be gutted if Wiggins was Dirty. I really don’t think he is TBH. If you looked at the tour it was controlled, and at the time there were complaints about the lack of attacking, or panache. It was a controll your losses in the mountains, hammer them in the TT’s.

Further to. That Froome was off form in the vultea, clearly fatigued, not something the usage of PED’s would really allow? It’s how it will pan out when ‘Berty returns will be interesting.

Been working since the 22nd on an emergency, CBA with any of it. On the plus side managed to get home for Christmas Day so I saw the kids.

Last two Ive bought in the last six years have been demo’ed Orange I got a five for the weekend, rode it back to back with my then existing bike.

The Specialized I went to a demo day and ride track Spesh, and Giant so Od keep a look out for demos mate that’s the way to choose, but looks will play a big part too!! 😆

DT Swiss 240 hubs Campag Centaur grouppo, gore cables, it’s great fun, it’s easy to get to almost road bike speeds on the road and handles great, but it’s not the “same” as my road bike As I said its my favourite bike and the one I’d save from a fire!!

GT, that’s a bit like saying the Olympic XC course is what xc riding is like or we all ride like the guys in Seasons or the red bull rampage!! Racing is different to riding trails, CX opens the door to trails that would be dull on a 150 mm bike or even my 100f/S but Ive ridden MTB trails on it and although slower I e had a good time isn’t that the point!

It was the random nature of Singletrack I really liked when I started reading it (II was a late starter issue six or something) it wasn’t so mass produced. But it’s lost that a bit for me now, so I dropped the sub and now bit the mag based on a flick through in the supermarket.

Its better than the other mags though, I’m never going to jump off a five foot drop, and if I was I’ll look at the same magazine from the year before!
