My Sworks epic in XL with crests and a reverb is 25 odd I think that’s a good weight given the ability of the frame and kit mate!

I had this hanger straight, new cable I was pulling my hair out, turned out the mech was stiff and wouldn’t extend the whole way out.

I’m in at 110kgs, I’ve got an epic. It’s an ar$e up head down bike, it’s lightning fast, and my favourite bike. It’s a hand full at times as its steep and short travel so you’ll have to concentrate!! But it suits me and for what ever reason I’m faster on it that my longer travel slacker bike.

I did put a different set of wheels in it as the Rovals are made of cheese!! And I found a dropper made a huge difference to the handling and let me get the most out of the bike with my limited ability!!! 😆

Well Ive put a reverb on my epic and it transformed the way I ride the bike. Not having a QR on the frame didn’t help but Ive found the ability to lower it mid trail really good, and Ive been going faster and riding cleaner since fitting it based on keeping the fast guys I ride with in sight now where as before it was a see you at the bottom of the run!

I think the command post has some lay back due to the design? Saddle wise the Adone? (It’s a Fizik has a long shell)

I know what you mean over the fit my MTB is out by 20mm on saddle position due to a dropper, TBH Ive not noticed it like I would on my roadie or CX.

It’s the Santa cruz Meh. A hideously expensive but handsome frame, dripping with journo praise and colour matched ENVE wheels…..

Well I like !! Luckily my local trek dealer is pants so that’s me not buying one (that and I sold my last Kidney or my CX bike)

I’ve loved every bike I’ve had…but the one I loved the idea of but never ever got on with was my IBIS MOJO, dream bike dream build but I just couldn’t get on with. Worst bike Never had one one I didn’t get one with yes.

Saying that any of my mates who rode it loved it it was me that was the issue!

To get rid of the last lot I dug the nest up and used an epic amount of killer….. 😈 it became an obsession……

In that case Ill go with my gut and leave it be!
