Sorry! Right prob 27.5 or 29er. I just want a trail bike really so swoopy single track in the trees so Fun comfy bike, but not over kill, so a bit of inbuilt safety but not so much that it kills me!! I loved my Five but it was too much for my day to day stuff, my pride and joy was an Epic, great bike I so enjoyed riding it, but could have done with either more skill or travel from time to time!! I do t want to go as XC as that though.

I mm too big for a Soul, a new five ( as in a 27,5 not 26) is outside budget. I’ve looked at direct sales, might be worth a shout?

If you are having health issues Id look at a compound due to the let off once you over come the peak draw, if you look at the you tube clips of the Paralympics you can see thes being shot in all manner of ways very well, but you’ll start on a recurve as a learning tool.

Just interested I had the same discussion with my mate about his 4K road bike compared to my 1k version. The difference was like night and day in the ride quality.

I’d try a dropper mate it will make a huge difference to how you ride the bike. It’s the best thing I’ve fitted to my ar$e up head down race bike.

I have Jedi’s (Tony Doyle) trail riding mantra in my head as I ride!! 😀

I know this is an obvious statement give the company but my goodness I love to ride my bike 😀

I don’t think anyone is!?! But it’s different to a trail centre like Cannock, Afan Keilder, Hamsterly , I won’t touch it in the wet, the climb is miserable and the chalk flint descents are interesting!!

But today is fast loose in some sections, and at its best!

QE is really fast at the moment, It’s worth a look.
