There is unlikely to be another attack today, or anytime soon
Actually, that would be a mistake..

I believe it was the Brussels Airport attack where a 2nd bomb was detonated shortly after the 1st. I seem to recall that the delayed timing was presumed to be a deliberate attempt to catch people rushing in to help.

Personally, I’d listen to official advice & work off that.

Unfortunately this is true, the Bas##rds often plant secondary devices, to catch the emergency services / first responders.

Shame that he’s left, the very bits they are reducing are the parts I enjoyed the most!

Never ridden a Rumblefish! But I do remember it!

I’ve got a Transition Smuggler, 29er, and frankly it’s the puppies privates! Just a brilliant all rounder.

I think you need to chill mate. Lakes riding isn’t the easiest a few weeks after an op, it’s so easy to feel crap when you’re completely knackered.

I really know how you feel, and Trying to get back in shape is a nightmare. If you need to ride with someone truly out of fitness and shape in the lakes let me know!!

Chill ride for the feel of being out and enjoy the flow of the trails the stamina and speed will be back by summer.

Have you really never gelled with a bike straight away?

I have, but I doubt I could ride every bike from a brand and instantly love it… 8)

Kesteven in instantly loving Santa Cruz shocker. Every Santa Cruz he rides he instantly adores. How he managed to give the alloy Bronson “only” four starts while adoring it I still don’t know. Makes the MBR spesh love of a few years ago seem balanced. Really gets on my tits.

Bloody hell Sorry Rich, I didn’t realise you were the owner…I really didn’t mean to be an arse, I though it was a chat about a bit of kit on ebay, I owe you a pint mate….

Have a word with yourself. It’s twenty quid for everything! Fully expect to get less than a ton for it all. In beginner recurve world that’s a wooden handled kit bow, and I bet you advise new riders that carbon rimmed 27.5ers are future proof and make the trails come alive

    LoL legend!!

I’ve just seen too many people rush out and get cheap kit that doesn’t suit them! You get all sorts of long term form issues from being over bowed, not to mention a poor release due to fingers being pinched by the string angle.

As for new riders….always a plus bike with boost rear end…. 😉

That marksman is nice but I’d be careful , it’s not got ILS fittings so you’ll struggle to upgrade the limbs due to the fitting on the riser, plus at 66″ is will stack like a git once you start to draw past 28″.

I think you’d struggle to go wrong with one of the Korean risers that have come out in the last few years, light limbs to work on form and you can then swap these out as you look for better sightmarks outdoors after a year or so.

I’d guess that the new bottom end would be better? Specialized for example drop the S-works frame down to the top end normal bike the following year. ( or the used to! )

8 years is a long time development wise in the Carbon bike arms race!

Have you bought it? It has lost something in the scaling up alright! I’m 6’3 so always need the bigger frames and they can look pants when you see them compared to the mediums in the showroom alright!! This is especially true which road or CX frames!

I like the bike in the original pic, but the second one it just looks a bit odd I agree!

I’d say that would have killed a bike rider. Glad no serious injuries reported. The driver should be in court for dangerous driving.
