Blimey, I’m left a bit with a combo of WTF and just overwhelming sadness really, you can see some of the fans have moments of clarity but it’s quickly lost.

The frame is always going the be top, as has been said above, the bike often ends up as a triggers broom over time and use anyway.

Saying that there are bits of kit on bikes that I’d know I’d want to change immediately such as brakes, so I’d always add that to the cost of a new bike, if Incouldnt get the LBS to swap them out.

More infor here looks like a 15-20mm extra on the reach? Makes the XL come in at about 500mm reach wise, really I treated to see the new bikes!

Terrible news re the missing crew so sad. Very strange for an incident like this to happen, all officers of the watch would be well versed in collision regs, and even basic yachts radar will go crazy with a vessel getting close let alone a military vessel with multiple systems monitoring what’s going on.

Thoughts with the families of those missing and injured and the crew.

200 watts for 60-90 min seems ok to me, as I said above no need to hide the battery as it’s not about cheating, the power is on off from what I e seen the lag issue is often talked about with the current set ups ( it was this exact system got me thinking about this TBH) but I’d be surprised if an extra 200 watts wasn’t enough to make a big difference to a ride on the hills?

Do you think you really need E bike specific kit though? I weigh more than you and your bike together ( yes yes I’m a lard arse!) and don’t have issues with brakes, or destroy cassettes chains on any of my bikes?

No mate, I’ve seen how big Danny H’s big looks with him on it or next to it. Granted though he’s not a big fella! At 6’2 sizing up isn’t an option for me off the shelf really! I’m just interested at how proportionately short the G19 is in comparison to the G13/16. Granted it’s still longer that most of the DH bikes.

I’m sold on the idea behind the trail bikes, I’m enjoying my Transition at the moment which is he longest MTB I’ve ridden and it’s allowing me to have a great time on the trails and push myself more. The plan is next summer arrange a test ride with MOJO on the Geometron to see if I suit it and it suits me! Fingers crossed!!

Ah that makes sense thanks Chainline, the twisty comment is based I the inference from some of the people who’ve sold the bike or didn’t get on with it, but they seem in the minority by a long way.

Chainline I was looking at the dirt review of the G19 and they were saying that the large G19 is 10mm shorter than the shortest Geometron. Although this is still longer than most DH bikes.

I have assumed from reading the stuff on here and the reviews / posts elsewhere on the net that one of the main reasons the trail bikes were so long was to improve the descending, and one of the critical comments from people who’ve ridden the trail bike is it can be too long for twisting trails. So what’s the thinking behind the G19 then? Did it come before or after the trail bikes and does that mean there’s a school, of thought the trail bikes are too long?
