Boxelder – I know, it still tastes awful

Munkster – also a very welcoming log burner in winter, on at least two occasions this is where a group of us met up and didn’t get any further and yes the bacon sarnies are ace

DCC didn’t like the email / website campaign last time

Just to put a little more spin on this.
    (1) DCC are planning to makes cut to the Community Transport – this is a lifeline to a number of OAPs who live in the Peak District –

    https://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/council/news_events/news-updates/2015/july/news_items/new_plans_for_community_transport_-_tell_us_what_you_think.asp

    (2) DCC are planning to cut School Crossing Patrols

    http://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/council/news_events/news-updates/2015/june/news_items/were_set_to_consider_future_of_school_crossing_patrol_service.asp

    http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/School-crossing-cuts-attracts-hundreds-signatures/story-26392029-detail/story.html

Cuts to SCP will save £96k

Cllr Dean Collins gave an interview on BBC East Midlands News (it was a bad interview) saying that cuts to Community Transport was needed in order to protect “frontline services”

There is one at the crescent in Buxton, tastes awful but some people must like as you see them filling bottles up with the stuff

I have been taking citalopram for about three years, now down to 20mg. When I first started taking it I had incredible chest pains / indigestion and flatulance, Dr subsequently prescribed omneprazole and this has cured the side effects.
Getting on my bike and long walks with the dog are a great form of therapy

Email addresses for Councillors and Officers are as follows:

    Firstname.surname@derbyshire.gov.uk

For example Dean Collins is the Cabinet Member for Highways, Transport and Infrastructure, his email address is:

    Dean.collins@derbyshire.gov.uk

Or you could attend the meeting / ask a question, please see the link below:

An apology: It was early, I didn’t sleep well – I meant Chapel Gate – Sorry

Link to DCC report on the re-surfacing of Cut Gate

    http://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/images/2015.07.07%20(4j)%20Chapel%20en%20le%20Frith%20BOAT_tcm44-267129.pdf

DCC has been very selective in the comments that are included in the report. The report is going before Councillors on the same day that cuts to School Crossing Patrols / Community Transport will be agreed

Richard Todd stood next to himself in The Longest Day. As an actor, Todd would later play Major John Howard in the 1962 film The Longest Day, while Todd himself was played by another actor.

You might find it worthwhile investing the White Peak Mountain Biking published by Vertebrate

If you are coming from the Baslow side of Bakewell turn left onto Coombs Road immediately before the bridge and there is a large car park there.

In my mid 40’s I had to be circumcised. When I came round I was told I could go home if I could pass water, which I could, result, no. The wound started to bleed and I was the last day case they had to get the duty Dr to see what was happening. So I have a Dr, two nurses and Mrs W all looking at my wound which looked like a piece of beef in the butchers with the string tied round it. Mrs W no longer buys beef anymore, every time she sees butchered beef she thinks of one thing

Just down the road from me so I’ll be there, although helping a mate on a stand. The £10 pass does cover the three days, otherwise £5 per day.

Went last year and it was genuinely interesting, especially as the Thornbridge Brewery and Hendricks Gin were there (and are this year)

Snap – found my air induction pipe on the sump yesterday. My car has just had a new radiator two weeks ago, clearly it hadn’t been reconnected correctly by the VW dealer in Chesterfield. I’ve calmed down now but expect to be in rant mode later

I’m not sure if the convoys still go up the M1, used to be outriders / cars, what looked to be armoured trucks and more outriders. The Police were all Met or City of London. Did run on a fairly regular basis, always at high speed, trucks in the “fast lane” – always going north (around J25 – J30). Always wondered what they were carrying – don’t think it was prisoners. I’m sure I read that it was cash from the Bank of England going to Leeds

PDNPA act as the case for the defence, prosecution, the jury and the judge. Even their administration is p*ss poor, because someone didn’t include the word “static” in a planning report it cost the taxpayer over £650k

    http://www.grough.co.uk/magazine/2012/04/20/cash-strapped-national-park-pays-650k-for-caravan-site-to-save-landscape

    http://www.peakparkwatch.org.uk/news

The PDNPA do nothing to support people who actually live in the park

Living in the PDNPA I think it ought to be disbanded as the services that it offers are duplicating what is already available from District / City and County Councils. I do have a negative of them as they cost me £2k on a planning application and an appeal.

Despite having had the Op in December 2013, my knee seems to be playing up. It feels like it is swollen at the back of my knee and on occasion it locks up. Has anyone else had problems after the operation?
