I think kayaking on Ladybower is definitely a no no. AFAIK the only place where canoeing is done is on the River Derwent at Matlock Bath (but I could be wrong)

I had an attack in January and three days of agony over the Bank Holiday. I know the foetal position well!

I had an attack last weekend – hence the hospital visit. They seem to have settled down at the moment although I do get stabbing pains on a regular basis.

I had a colonoscopy last week – oddly it was fascinating watching your insides on the big screen

Regarding BT customer service their non UK call centres are truly appalling, we had an intermittent broadband and the call handler accused us having too many devices connected. Got so fed up with their lies I emailed the CEO of BT – CEOemail is your friend. What a difference that made, engineer at the house and an Executive Customer Care Team (based in Newcastle) on the case giving me updates on what they had done and what they were doing – everything now resolved

Sadly we live in a rural area so are pretty much restricted to BT

You can do an apprenticeship at any age, the problem you may have is you previous qualifications if you have a degree or Level 4 there is no funding available for a L2 or L3 apprenticeship – this all changes from May this year when a new funding methodology kicks in. As pointed out above how apprenticeships currently get funded depends on your age – but again this changes post May
