Didn’t Top Gear build one a few years back? Isn’t it relatively simple engineering?

According to someone on Radio Derby tonight there are just 40 Traffic Cops to cover all the major trunk roads / motorways in Derbyshire; with shift patterns / annual leave etc – it worked out as 1 TC per 300 miles of road

I drilled through a gas pipe, as I was using an electric drill thought I was lucky as it wasn’t a water pipe.

I had to buy a new cable as the new computer had no spare serial ports, now have to contact via USB cable.

Did have – changed computer and lost memory map as it was an old version and its no longer supported. In my simple world I’m wondering if I can upload grid references into Garmin Connect and the upload onto my Etrex

I’ve got a Tiguan and use a Halfords bike rack that can hold 3 bikes. I haven’t done anything with the electrics as the bike is more over the rear windscreen and away from the lights / number plate

I once drove past what I thought was drunk sleeping it off after a night on the beer / Diamond White; only to get a call from a colleague that the “drunk” had in fact been shot dead and the road was a murder scene. That was in Nottingham

There is woodland above Two Dales north of A6 and B5057 which takes you onto Eastmoor and Beeley Hilltop not entirely sure it is 100% legal. Also Bridleway near Northwood onto moors

We bought a Grade 2 listed cottage after having looked through the window and putting an offer in, six hours later it was ours. Then the fun started: the chimney needed rebuilding, bath taps were live (infact the shower was live as well) the fitted wardrobes were causing damp (they came out the day that we moved in), the front door needed replacing (listed building consent required), the windows needed replacing (listed building consent required)
It’s been expensive but it’s been worth it
