I had my Op three weeks ago, first week was a nightmare, second week walking improved, this week has been ok, – walking improved even more and significantly less pain, although still get the odd twinge. Expect to go out on the bike probably next week

I ordered my GPS on Monday – not had any indication of when it will be dispatched etc, emailed Garmin twice to get more information e.g. Tracking number etc, they have not responded yet. Has anyone else experienced this?

Good nights sleep. Day 2 after operation, no pain just a little stiffness, exercises start tomorrow. Sick note for two weeks / no driving for two weeks – so reliant on Mrs W. After op registrar said that there had been some wear on the bone so not sure what the implications of this are, have got follow up appointment in January . I haven’t heard any squelching today

I once drank beer out of woman’s shoe at a Xmas works do – her husband didn’t look to happy. The owner of a local bar used to “gate crash” (I sorted him a ticket) the advantage of this is that we used to get a lock in at his place after the Xmas do had finished

Just had knee arthroscopy for torn medial meniscus, feels a little sore (at the moment) , no crutches, knee swollen. Have exercise sheet to follow. Have been given Ibuprofen and Codeine
