Has anyone received anything from CCP, if you did how long did it take from submitting the claim to getting the money?

I was in a similar situation, I had a Tiguan but needed to change it. I test drove the 1.2 Diesal Polo Bluemotion,, lovely car but the fourth gear was too high thus I was forever changing down to third. I decided to buy the 1.4 GT Blue – it has a 1.4 turbo charged petrol engine. The GT Blue has an active engine management system so if you are cruising it runs on two cylinders. I was tempted by the manufacturers mpg claims – on a run from Bakewell to Derby (down the A6) I got 65 mpg; same journey going over the hills I got 55mpg. The other benefit is the annual VED is £20 per year. Mrs W has a VW Up – really good mpg, ideal for journeys around town although a little basic

I use a couple of very small cable ties to attach the unit to the mount (in addition to the standard clip). I have to agree the amount doesn’t appear the securest of mounts

I saw a platoon of 2WW US Army reenactors in the Peak District – a little odd to see “tooled up” people in army uniforms. I saw the naked hiker in Long Dale near Bakewell – by saw, he was on the hillside and he did give a warning “I’ve got no clothes on”

A really interesting thread. Under a bit of pressure at work, started having chest pains and dizzy spells went to Drs on Monday, had BP test- – 136 over 96 which was a surprise. Another BP test in a week or so

Unfortunately I had three for the price of two, first double inguinal hernia – two nights in hospital in 2007 and then in 2010 a Spegellian hernia – apparently a bit of a rarity. The last operation was in and out of hospital the same day. I was off the bike for six weeks of so, I was told by the Dr that cycling was good at strengthening the muscles., couldn’t drive for two weeks.

A similar convoy could be seen on the M1 heading north with City of London or the Met in cars surrounding one or two trucks, always travelling at speed. Various rumours what they were protecting – nukes, prisoner transfer or the most plausible transferring cash from London to Leeds

O2 in their infinite wisdom came round to my way of thinking and paid more money than they originally offered – apparently the vaue of mobiles can increase (although this is rare). I would shop around the value does vary – I have used Envirofone in the past

Sorted me out a couple of years ago when they sourced a new Scott frame for me at a very reasonable price after my MC30 had developed a terminal crack

No problems – I’ll find some links that will explain the what and whys of employing an apprentice

    woody21

They might not necessarily need to come to College. What we (and other training providers / colleges) would do is get a person spec from the employer and put this the National Apprenticeship Service website – basically young people register and people advertise opportunities – the employer can have as much input as they want or they can rely on the college or training provider short list individuals

I live near Bakewell, but work in Derby. I know we offer a Digital and Social Media apprenticeship

If it comes down to finance the minimum wage you have to pay an apprentice is £2.68 per hour, personally I would suggest you pay a more realistic figure per hour. I work for a College, what sort of skills are you looking for?
