I’ve downloaded the magazine via the website, prefer the app route.

The app route appears to be working and isn’t asking me for £3.99

I work in the training industry, this week the number of cancellations has increased steadily. We work with unemployed people as well as the employed and delivering training is getting more and more difficult. Thus we’ve got to take 14 days annual leave – better than SSP I suppose.

Toilet rolls – you can never have too many toilet rolls. They will be the new currency in a post Covid 19 world

Make sure you lock your bikes up – a couple of years someone had there’s nicked from up there!

Forestry up there will be almost certainly wet (unless we have a heatwave), you can do about 8 mls up with there with minimal road mileage

The Vertebrate White Peak book will be a good investment

All official rights of way will have a number e.g. BW2 or FP1. At Peak District MTB we have asked Facebook followers for suggestions of potential upgrades. What this did identify is that each right of way will also include details of the Parish Council e.g. Derwent FP11 or Hope Woodlands BW25

Medial meniscus is my bet (I’m not a Doctor)

I’ve had similar issues and subsequently just had a knee arthroscopy to remove the errant piece of cartilage

I ended up emailing Endura (I’m after a pair of MT500 3/4 shorts) – they didn’t bother responding. If anyone knows of the said item (extra large) please let me know!

Nope – recovering from knee surgery

I have just had my arthroscopy on Thursday – third one in six years on the same knee. Still a bit painful and stiff. Cannot drive for at least two weeks, I’ve been hobbling around (I think I’ve over done it). I went through the NHS Patient Choice and had the surgery done n a private hospital in Sheffield It’s taken a year to get to this stage as NHS make you jump through numerous hoops – physio, steroid injections. As I’m off over Xmas so no time off work

    The figures tend to disagree

    http://www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/your-council/news-and-publications/latest-news/2083-peak-tourism-economy-continues-to-thrive

Farmers seem to do pretty well out of tourism
    – YNot Festival
    – Eroica
    – Horse Trials / Game Fair
    – Farmers Market
    – Bakewell Show depends on tourists
    – numerous camp sites / camping barns / B&B

I do have a degree of sympathy with Marcus, when you do a little of googling

    Even Farmers Weekly gives advice

    https://www.fwi.co.uk/business/business-management/health-and-safety/cattle-farmers-warned-insure-walker-injury

The farmer admitted that this wasnt the first instance, and that these were sorted out “privately”. Once reported the HSE have a duty to investigate, they made a suggestion how the farmer chose to react was his decision and his decision alone

    https://www.fginsight.com/news/top-stories/walker-attacked-by-highland-cattle-after-dog-worrying-incident-42128

    Advice given by the HSE

HSE advice is that, if possible, farmers should use fields or areas not used by the public when cattle are calving or have calves at foot, especially during periods of greater public use such as public or school holidays.

I’m not sure if this is of interest, features a bit of everything and is predominately off road. There are no facilities in MBY, but there is just off route at Parsley Hay
