Thought the last season was excellent and I think the splitting into 2 could be even better as long as they don’t try to squeeze too much into too short a time slot.

I really believe it is time society began eradicating people who commit these heinous crimes…………permanently.
We have no reservation in sending people to kill others in war and yet when it comes to dealing with proven evil scum, we go all ‘bleeding heart liberal’ and ‘human rights’.

I am bl@@dy well sick of it.

I was wondering why a man of your ss experience had to ask such a question..
BTW Konas usaually have a magic ratio 34:17 IIRC but it was some years ago when I had one!

Brave of you to post the sad news tonight as I know how you must be feeling. Heartfelt condolences and best wishes to you and your family.

More tolerant online funnily enough and language is a lot cleaner – probably something to do with being able to take a deep breath etc but persona is the same (I think).

It all depends on many factors

The main one being how greedy the dentist is.

When I lived in London, a dentist near Tower bridge was going to charge me £1500 for the tooth I am having crowned in the next few weeks. I went home to my old dentist who fixed it for £40…….18 years ago !

£7-800+ seems outrageous – is it somewhere very flash around Harley Street ?

I’ve just had the root done on one of mine today (privately)and so far it has cost me £140 and will be another £250 max when I get the crown.

Happy with that and I had a nice chat with my dentist about how much he enjoyed his 3 weeks skiing in Whistler over xmas, which he does every year with his family.

Don’t grudge him it in the slightest as he works hard, causes me virtually no pain and doesn’t overcharge.

Good advice above, particularly Coffeking and PK

Having had to take 2 dogs and 2 cats ‘down to the vets’ over the past 5 years it is a heartbreaking decision (I still get upset when I come across pics or threads like this ) but one which only the owner who has cared for and knows the dog can ultimately make. Your dogs eyesight failings and inanbility to get round the block are just old age but the criteria I use to make any decision are –

Are they in pain or suffering ?
Is their quality of life such that they are depressed/miserable/aggressive ?
Take the vets advice as to what is best for the dog not you.

Whatever you decide, you can take comfort in the fact your ‘litte mate’ has had a wonderful life with you.

Finbar – that’s lovely and kept in the right place . Where did you get it done and how much if you don’t mind me asking ?

The Vicious designs are are a bit too ‘in your face’ for my liking but the fluorescent green is quite something.

I had this one done at Triple S and although the pic is too far away to appreciate it, it was a very lustrous (sp?) metallic blue which didn’t look like a powdercoat at all. Sold it to someone on here a few years back and wondered how durability was/is ?

Hmmm. I had a bit of an obsession with watches a few years back and have owned everything from a Casio G-Shock to a couple of very nice Breitlings which I was so nervous about wearing in case they got damaged or nicked that I sold them.

Now happy with a Zeno (very similar to the Panerai) and a good old Seiko Diver auto + a Citizen Quartz for work which cost £20 off Ebay and keeps better time than any of them!

Eddie at TIMEFACTORS has several very nice miltary type watches and others to suit your budget, although )as you will see) they tend to be made in limited batches and stock runs out quickly. Thoroughly nice bloke who is extremely knowledgable.

You should know not to ask that as Hora was a member of the idiot club long before his comment on this thread

Lots of variables to affect things but I would have thought the main differences would be the longer bolt through fork raising the bars a touch and the (IIRC) more compact effective t/t on the 303.

I noticed a big difference between my Compo and Inbred and more recently my 456 and MC Rumble, which I had set up (I thought) almost identically.

The only conclusion I could arrive at was that there IS a big difference in certain siuations between ali and steel and that it doesn’t matter what I ride I’ll still be crap, so should stick to one bike

MASSIVE potential. Why didnt they exploit this to the max?

Is that not for another programme, or when they can afford to ? The figures made them £65K over budget – did they have a massive cash windfall or a promotion before the end of the show ?

Agree with all the above. She seemed to think she was attractive and witty………wrong, although it’s amazing how good/bad they can make people look in the edit.

What I couldn’t work out was their budget, which initially was £350K for a ‘family’ house and £200K for the ‘investment/holiday home’. At the end they had bought a family house needing extensive renovation for £365K and still had a budget of £250K for the holiday home…..WTF ????

Did a goatee thing for 3 weeks before xmas and it was a mix of grey, black, ginger but mostly white white !

My missus reckoned it made me look 60 and it was bloody itchy.

Also amazes me how certain people who look baby faced when clean shaven can grow one in days eg. Ewan MacGregor became grizzly biker almost overnight !

I’ve now got the name I wanted originally but someone else had taken it 5 or so years ago and I haven’t seen a post from them for years, so I don’t think I’m a c*nt……………..at least not for that anyway :)
