Anyway schoolboytastic logic was lifted straight from wikipedia

…..and here was me assuming you'd actually put some thought into it

With one BE and one world champ.

    Erm, what's a BE?

Instruction is weird, sometimes it's just a personal thing eg. when I first started snowboarding I couldn't make out what the instructor meant, yet my daughter was following immediately. Another day, another instructor was the complete opposite. Both instructors were fantastic boarders and equally good instructors in their own way. It's just a case of finding what suits you, or in this case your SO.

Woody I think you were having a joke

No shit Einstein………………..so in effect, the entire remainder of your post was a waste of time as well as being schoolboytastic 'logic'

The fact is anyone who enjoys killing surely enjoys the eating, it makes it all the sweeter.

Is that a quote from Jeffrey Dammer?

Ok – just nipped out and taken this shot of the 18" 456 summer season. I initially queried the size of this as well as I thought I'd been sent another 16" by mistake but it's spot on built up. :D

This was my 16" and initially it felt right but after a few miles it was definitely too cramped. I'm the opposite to you ie. relatively short legged 31" and 6'1". I'm now on a 18" 456 summer season and it's the first Inbred that I've actually felt comfortable on having previously had 2 x 18" Inbreds, 1 x 20" Inbred and the 16" 456 below.

ps those stackers are not very pretty. I've a PlanetX 130mm x 35deg stem from previous experiments which would look a lot better for only £8 posted
[edit] BTW yours does look like a 16" ?

It's a shame because they had a great (thoroughly deserved) reputation. I'm sure Kona is making more money and selling more bikes than ever but purely out of snob value (I'm not ashamed to admit it) I would never consider buying a bike from Halfords. I'm sure Kona won't lose sleep over that

My old Stuff frame is a keeper as it appears to be indestructable, and depending on the build, is versatile enough to cope with anything.

Hayley Holt's trousers don't seem to fit properly.

Yes. they are too big and she's had to roll down the top!

Back on topic- I used to be quite partial to those all-in-one 'bodies'- probably because a very short skirt wearing ex had one which used to ping its poppers at the slightest provocation

Never wear nylon thongs. I'm a (hold on while I check………….yup still there) bloke and even I know that  and thongs are supposed to go between cheeks, otherwise they are known as knickers! This is assuming you were talking about bottom bottoms and not err………front bottoms

expressing blinkered, biased opinions about people you know nothing about,

seems to sum up quite succinctly what I was going to say…………..

I have been many in similar situations, and must say I've been quite disturbed and saddened by the actions of some police officers.

As you have been in many similar situations, are you not equally saddened by the actions of some protesters against people who are going about their lawful duty? You appear to be totally discounting the weight of evidence which says that the policeman was justified in his actions because it doesn't fit with your perception of reasonable force in policing. The fact that this was a small woman is entirely irrelevant. As for your assertion that he is a cowardly bully, I observe the police at fairly close quarters on a regular basis and I'm sure that given the choice, most would prefer a 'football hooligan' to a small woman who may or may not use a can/camera as a weapon.

Presumably you are not a racist, unfotunately I missed out the question mark when I said that, you are however incredibly narrow minded and refuse to see the situation from another perspective because it interferes with your political beliefs and apparent indoctrination that all police are evil thugs.

Bah. I tried to get up to the Lecht yesterday and gave up when I hit a 2ft snowdrift just after Corgarff at 11am !

Fingers crossed for end April/May when I'm next up there.

I'll also repeat – your observations are very selective if you failed to notice. His colour is irrelevant. It was you who used the terminology B'wana, which I found inappropriate given that this word is derived from swahili and in common parlance has strongly pejorative connotations.

    Woody

    Is he black? I'm sorry, I hadn't noticed. I just saw a uniformed thug…

Hmmm – that ties in quite appropriately with your 'selective' observation skills

    Woody

    Sorry B'wana.

Oh dear. Racist as well as blinkered. I'm surprised you missed out the fact that the officer is black in your 'reasons for him being bullied'

Right, for those of you who seem to have little grasp of the Law; The police are of course allowed to carry weapons for personal defence, and to use proportionately, and with reasonable force, to uphold the Law.

I will be equally patronising and point out that he has been found to have acted using proportionate, reasonable force in a court of law, consisting of at least several people who presumably have a greater grasp of the law than yourself.

she got £26000 and didnt bother going to court?

Pity she hadn't been charged with a public order offence then that odious turd Max Clifford wouldn't have been able to get in on the act.

The police act like tossers – they seem to think their role includes suppressing any vaguely political protest.

No they don't. They are there to protect the public. SEE HERE

He didn't 'get-off', he was found not guilty – big difference.

She's damn lucky it was the UK. Other places she would have had a proper kicking, dragged off AND been fined for being a pain in the arse.

Here she gets £26k – now that's a disgraceful waste of taxpayers money  I hope he sues her for stress, intimidation, threatening behaviour and takes every penny off her that she 'won'.

I remember building something like that (on a smaller scale) in the woods at the back of my folks house when I was 10. It provided a nice habitat for all sorts of creepy crawlies.

What disturbs me more than anything about this type of project, is that given 6 months of not shaving, washing or having a haircut, I could look exactly like this 8O
