I was initially pondering the Titan but it’s very similar to the Alpine evo and I’m at the point where I think its overkill for a decent proportion of rides. The whole long travel/enduro type of bike just isn’t as compelling anymore!  How grown up is that eh!!!

Amongst my many bikes, I’ve owned both Rune and Spitfire in previous years.  Runes a rocket ship in the right hands – I don’t own the right hands!  One reason I’m curious over the Prime is Banshee make a very good product but my previous ones were V1s.

My dvo diamond did something v similar last year and sorted it self after a couple of months. So I’m wondering if there’s a perhaps a rogue bubble somewhere

I thought it could be that but I’ve stripped it and it’s clean as. May try a bleed to see if there’s air bubbles!

We had a similar situation last year and put it into premium bonds. I do think the present uncertainty makes bonds a great option. It’s also good fun checking after every draw to see if you’ve won.

Fitted 2 sets of these onto both bikes. Great feel, consistent power, easy to setup and bleed. Just need to bed in stock pads properly to get the most out of them.

I fitted the Huck Norris insert today and did a short loop up in the Lakes this evening. After dropping pressure to well under what I’d normally venture out with, it does seem to work. I hit a couple of rocky trails with 14 psi in front and 25 in rear and no issues. I can imagine on a wet day riding slippy bed rock the traction/grip will be excellent as tyre will deform nicely.

I’ve just fitted a TRex 40 t onto my slx cassette by removing the 13 t cog. After taking bike out there’s no issues going through gears. It all seems at odds with other info online.

Changed from orange 5 to EG and to be honest it took a little longer than expected to setup but following a little faff its a great all day bike, perfect for big Lakes miles. Forks are 160mm fox 36 floats with mid rise renthal fat bars at 780mm. Suspect the forks help to raise bb so no pedal strikes at all. Apparently my frame is the V2 so geometry is slightly different than the v3 but ignore the cheap price and keep an open mind.

Bought the X fusion seat post last month, had a number of good rides around the Lakes and i have to honest it is really good, easily as good as my old Pure race post.

Only concern i have is the servicing. I inadvertantly lost a lot of oil out of the bottom of the post and cannot find any info on type and qunatity of oil to use. Can anyone help me please?
