It does seem OK when I’m on 4G/o2

Same here, fine on 4G but borked on Virgin BB.

Was always a 4am start when I was a kid and I did it for a bit.

Do they still do gold top? Anyone remember that? Extra creamy, probably clog your arteries after one sip! Still used to try and liberate the odd one mind….

Remember when you’d collect the milk from the step to find blue tits had pecked a hole and taken the cream from the top? Wonder if that learned behaviour has been lost?

. It was either that or constantly sticking the rod

Haha that’s pretty much how I remember my welding when I was on a teenager on a YTS in the 80’s!

I have a factory sticker on the battery compartment lid telling me to do the polarity thing whenever you change the battery. It’s always worked so perhaps it is required?

Only 10? Some people on here have been saying that for much

Pretty sure when we bought our first house 20 years ago it was at the height of the market and a crash was coming!

My trouble is that at least once a ride it gets in my eyes and stings so much I have to stop, close my eyes and sort myself out.

I get this too. And it’s compounded even more when it rains as you get a constant trickle of stinging sweat into your eyes.
I’m off to look at these Halo things now….

Daughter has tested positive as have several of her school friends. Misses and I are double jabbed and so far are symptom free.

Assuming we don’t get ill will our exposure to presumably the delta variant strengthen our immunity and act as a booster, or do you have to actually get ill with covid to bolster your immunity?

This was our household last week. Both double jabbed. I still ended up getting it and was pretty ill for a couple of days and crap for a week. Delta variant going off the symptoms although I still also lost taste and smell.

Well there I was wondering how a thread about a new frame managed to stretch to 9 pages?! 😁

Keep on riding everyone, and be nice.

After my last resignation I was quite looking forward to the exit interview to get a few things off my chest.
Turned up and they directed me to a computer terminal where I was presented with a web based questionnaire with a few multiple choice questions!

    Did you like working here:
    a) a lot
    b) a little
    c) somewhat

I felt cheated out of a rant! 😃

Yup I gave up on them for this very reason. Sh*t design for a “premium” product. The replacement will also fail and the replacement after that. So just skip straight to getting a cheaper one from Decathlon with a hook and loop strap and do away with it altogether.

Or a linesman. I’ve a mate who’s a linesman, he works away a lot. Stops in caravans and b&b’s (pre covid.) Very hard graft and the dark and cold winters are his busiest times.

I’ve a pair on my road bike, been faultless.
I’ve had various wheels over the years from JRA, I’d say you’ll be fine. Nothing but good things to say about them.
I must admit I was sceptical when they went from branded rim builds to own brand but no issues at all.

Have you tried removing item 27? There’s a couple of 5mm allen bolts holding it in place. That sometimes gets scale built up in the holes in and around it. You can take out and descale it and run it without it in place to see if flow is ok. IIRC mine doesn’t seem to get 4 even flows out if each, think 2 always seem more powerful than the others.

He said they were on Challenge Limus running 16psi. Well someone was anyhow 😃

Course is pretty boring tbh, not technical.

Just push the axle all the way to the front of the sliding dropout and clamp it in place. Fit your derailleur hanger and away you go. This was with a regular qr wheel mind. You might need to adjust the brake caliper position too.

I emailed Cotic to ask as I was in the same position as you.

Anyone know if I can run fluorescent and LED at the same time on the same circuit? I have 4 dual electronic fluorescents in the garage at the minute and they are all wired together.
Could I just replace one with LED?
Just wondering about reducing cost and seeing bright they actually are and how many LED’s I’d need.

    using a vibration plate

Never seen one of those before. What do you do on it? Regular exercises just standing on the plate?

Anyone know roughly how long test results are waiting to come through at the moment?

Just over 14 hours from the drive through test centre near Manchester airport yesterday. Pretty impressive.

    Negative btw

Yup this is what I do at the minute.

What it’s worth remembering is that pretty much everything works.

    Consistency is the biggest factor.

As long as you’re lifting more than 40% of your one rep max for each exercise and working hard it will work.

Most people fail because they don’t keep doing the work consistently.

    This 100%

Decathlon do their own kettle bells and dumbbells if you have one handy?
I have a couple of each and I use an app on my phone called Dumbbell Challenge or something like that, 30 minute sessions.

Try watching the Park Tools guides on YouTube, they’re really good. As long as you pause after each step and follow it through you should be good.

Yes one cable to your Poe switch and cable the other devices in your garage LAN back to it. Might be worth putting two cables in just for redundancy in case one fails or eaten by a rodent 😃
Of course if you do run two cables so you could use them both to feed two separate Poe switches for instance.
I’d run two just in case, even if you don’t use/need the other.

Just regarding the power bank Vs lights thing. People seem to recommend a switch so you can charge a power bank during the day then switch over to lights at night and use the power bank you’ve charged during the day.
Am I missing something or can any inline switch do this job? K-lite produce a switch but it’s £60! Wouldn’t any old switch do?

Doesn’t need earthing, but shouldn’t technically run parallel to power cables.
You are better off with some external grade for weatherproofing and rodent proofing! They seem to love chewing it, or do as @footflaps suggests and run it in some trunking.

If he’s into classic UK guitarists try Bernie Marsden’s Where’s My Guitar?: An Inside Story of British Rock and Roll. Loads of great tales – mostly drug free.

    here

And My Bass and Other Animals by Guy Pratt is great and often hilarious

    here

both have quite a lot of “gear detail” if he’s into that.

we have one of these things – paw washer they’re blinking great and the dogs dont protest too much. Fill it with water, plunge in each paw a few times and they come out sparking, amazing how much crap comes off them. Pat down with a towel after and no more floor bits!

Yup I went through about 6 before I gave up on them.

I now have one from Decathlon that’s worked flawlessly and has a much simpler hook and strap setup.

That was what the old On-One Pompino was perfect for

Or the Cotic RoadRat? now discontinued I think? Probably still pick one up though I’d imagine. I run one single speed with full rack and guards.
