I hope that anyone who doesn't vote will acknowledge that this removes absolutely any right to complain about the result….

Voting is not a right, it is a privilege which should be exercised at every opportunity

    "excellent" either ironically or not..
"cool" because it annoys the children
"out of his/her depth in a car park puddle"
    and
"that went down like a bucket of cold sick"

You'd probably be ok until it becomes a bit too warm. That's when you're likely to need a slightly cooler alternative. :-)

Having said that Stockton seems to be mainly staffed by attractive young girls so it makes the shopping experience more enjoyable.

Is it? When do you go? I might have to change the time of my shopping….

I also use the Stockport store!

I think you'll find this is a Stockton on Tees thread, not Stockport thank you very much… :P

I use the on in Stockton on Tees.

It's like any normal shop, you go there, decide what you want to buy, pay for it and then take it home.

The bike dept is OK, like all such places the quality of the service depends on who you speak to.

You can go an have a look round without signing up for anything.

I think they're fine if they have what you want.

So on that basis is it better to have a wide tyre on the front and a skinny on on the rear?

Surely everyone's taken their bike out the the back of the car, put both wheels in then ridden off without connecting the V-brakes back up?

I have, parked at the visitor centre at the top of Sutton Bank 6 or 7 years ago, discovered when trying to slow a bit a lot for the first hairpin that I had no front brakes, cue swift left turn into the woods, luckily the gate was open or it could have been very messy 8O

Gat a mate to go see it about an hour before you do (preferably one who knows a bit about cars), get hime to tell the owner a great list of what's wrong with it (in a nice way) and then offer half the asking price.

When you go along and offer 3/4 of the price it'll seem like a great deal to the seller

Get a Boardmad Pro frame and have it powder coated to your choice of colour if the brand bothers you.

I've been ragging one for 2 years now and it's never put a foot wrong and I'm about 14st

    The perfect camping breakfast.

1 Mcvities Jamaica Ginger Cake or Lyons Golden Syrup cake, cube into bite size pieces, pour over 1 pint of Custard, stir very gently to ensure even coatage of the cake.

Give half to your mate, eat the other half yourself. :-)

As I understand it providing the total weight of the rack and bikes is less than the rating for the towar as fitted you should be ok.

I've got a Pro, had it about 2 years.

It's absolutely brilliant, quick, reliable, light, handles really well and is easy to maintain. I'd have another without a second thought.

All I've done is replaced the usual consumable items (tyres, cassette, chain & brake pads) and the grips following an off.

Cheese, Ham and Cheese & Ham.

Use ready grated cheese too, goes further and makes nice fat sandwiches that look really full of filling.

Could add a bit of green stuff if you're feeling really fancy

Try a Mazda 6. I very nearly got a Mondeo but having driven the Mazda decided to go Japanese…Nowt the matter with the Mondeo though, just a preference thing…

Weren't the 626 and the first Mondeo the same car? Is the 6 the same as a newer Mondeo?
I think also Galaxy, Volvo S40 and a Lincoln of some sort share the platform. The Jag X-Type was the 01-07 Mondeo.

I believe the current shape Mazda 6 shares a floorpan and some elements of the running gear with the current Mondeo. The engines & powertrain are Mazda's own.

I gather that the Mazda 3 is based on the current Focus FWIW

Quite right about the S40, X-Type Jag and Galaxy sharing Mondeoness..
