the price difference between normal and run flats isn’t much so I thought it might be worth a punt but wanted some real world experiences before I spend money
No it’s all been plastered over i had enough clearing up to do after opening it out. if I was doing it again I think id pay someone to do it sooty dusty mucky but over all very satisfying job
I went for the high and mighty really nicely built fuel consumption wise hard to say as its my first wood burner, but it’s warm and you can cook your tea in it
Used to get a funny vibe when in the car approaching and leaving the cross roads after Boroughbridge on the B6265 road. Used to make me shudder and look in my rear view mirror. Was always at night (driving home from a mates in Ripon) and always happened on that crossroads. Stopped driving on that road in the end.
I built my own, was fairly straight forward you’ll need
1x computer heatsink (ebay £10)
1x peltier module again ebay about £4
1x piece of aluminium off cut 110×25 (circular) scrap bin
1x fan I bought a genuine caframo one £15
1x motor ageing a carframo one £18
Plus a few bolts and a bit of solder and an hour of putting together
Ppe? The guy that fitted ours last week had boots, hard hat, dust mask, goggles, harness, hi vis and was drilling anchor bolts for his ladder, he was fully suited and booted, are they employed by sky or subs?
I don’t live to far away perhaps 15 minutes drive, and its great lots to see/do night life is also great. doesn’t really feel like a city more a market town.
