Have to reconsider plans now.. might just drive straight from midlands to St.Ives the very early like 5am, and because its a long drive I might just relax for the day and enjoy the view and indoor pool, cannot bring bike as towbar wasnt booked/fitted in time.. so might just go for a walk..i better bring my sunglasses 8) ..then at night find a local cinema to watch batman+superman ..

The next day and the next, i’m still googling the places you all suggested.. but eden and tintagel is kinda a must as Im already there.

Well dream car is 330dMsport..but due to my long mileage 320dMsport with all all toys will suffice. Dream thingy is subjective by the way.. 1st service is done BMW its in the electronic thingy in the car.. its 20mileage and garage serviced it but cannot update car computer and give me paperwork instead. .by the way salesman email and car was put in trade so he will try post office again..if all is well i may be able to pick it up today 🙂 🙂 🙂

Crikey. Sorry about the words tbh i sometimes have poor choices of words in writing as this is not my first language.

No aggressive exchange of words whatsoever..more like dissapointed sad words used as they are, i want to be angry but no one to blame as im not the one dealing where they bought it from..they probably angry/disapointed with auction people where they get it from. .. the car is sparkly clean with all HpI and Vosa mileage check and all… only previous people where they bought it from did not handover that trade paper thingy is the glitch. Im sure they can sort this but how quick. I will know today.

Gesture would be nice though 😀 as i didnt haggle in price and px as it is the price im prepared to pay on the spot. Its tempting about those courtesy cars but say i just go back my car and put everything on hold but filled refund paperwork to be ready in case more problem arise. Hopefully today is going to be a better day than yesterday

To be clear, cant fault the garage they are ok people but that paperwork v26 thingy, i only learned about that earlier as was informed V5 is lost when i collect the car and is easy fix and nothing to worry about till it becomes apparent that it is not an easy fix at all. And I dont want to be in a position where (touch wood) things get more complicated and I will be force to just choose any car within their garage as replacement because well my px car they will already sold.. the thing is whenever i am in a position of not understanding things my first port of call is always take a step back . They assure me tomorrow first thing they would sort it out and give me exact date for car to be collected with all complete papers. Its just a car at the end of the day ànd there will always something like that would come along

but you don’t wear suits straight out of Tesco or Hugo Boss hangers..always have it tailored to fit you and how you want to look at it and always wear it with pride, style and class otherwise you will feel exactly what you just described like a rag ….people always sense this, aura and body language you cannot defeat this .. take this mantra “if you dont feel good, then you also dont look good”

Was in a metal cover band in high school till early part of uni days..so sporting long hair back then in the 90’s to copy(ish) metallica/megadeth look …most of my mates sporting long hairs as well.. then Life took over and one by one over the years my mates cutting their long hair coz of jobs / missus / growing up … then one day I just went to the barber and said 5 on top 4 on sides please… was the last man standing though ….thinkingabout it couple of years ago though but too much grey hairs now 😐

@phil the 700£ contribution deposit + 1yr warranty + 1 yearfree breakdown service is advertised on BMW website for approved used car.. so i think they will have to give this regardless.. i assume the salesman is not allowed to tell me that I can do it this way and settle the account within cooling period.. If this is actually doable i might go for this./?

About bmw finance.. they actually giving £700 contribution if I would do it in finance….. so, can I get finance availing that £700contribution then pay it all off within cooling period?

I thought when you get finance the overall payment for the car including interest is has been calculated already and you have to pay overall price regardless how soon you want to settle the balance?

Yes I drove test the non-Msuspension..it feel a bit wallowy for me… Focus ST is actually my first choice but that bejesus exhaust kills it and I really need that tow bar to carry my bike..I am still waiting for email reply from towbar company if they can retrofit or work out how to fit a towbar on new ST ..so not really in a rush getting that 320d

Sounds like you are worn out dude! You definitely need a holiday somewhere sunny like bahamas or anywhere tropical.. just sit all day in the beach looking at the horizon till sunset with a cold beer on your hand. That would sort you out. ..I was like that mid year last year and completely given up and took sabbatical riding..it comes to a point that even riding my bike feels like a chore… so I went to tuscany and just do nothing and just enjoying laid back life not even care about touristy thingy.. and for some magical reason those tiredness/achy/ill feeling becomes like it never happened…. then i came back to england and rain never stops, so back to achy tiredness ill feeling again 😕

how much is a years warranty on that car aftermarket ?

well not really 100% similar but closest around that I could find(i guess I should have not used the like-for-like word) the car in supermarket while it is 10k lower mileage it doesnt have the optional Msuspension (i dont really know if i’m gonna need this in the real world)

I dont think there is a year warranty on car supermarket but they offering an extended warranty option and this is extra payment of course, like a 3rd party extended warranty thingy , I believe this is pretty standard practice from a car supermarket

I am thinking of going to another Sytner BMW (Birmingham,Leicester,Solihull) maybe I can find a salesman there that can make the deal happen as the said car is still in the main garage getting ready around mid-end march…I assume all this Sytner group source their car out from that main garage, right?

18.5k is advertised priced BMW 320Msport ..I emailed him to give it to me at 18k and I will pay straight away.. he keeps pushing me to go finance to get the 700 dealer contribution/supaguard/gap insurance.. i dont really need/want what he is offering. 😐

I saw a similar spec for spec and 10k lower mileage for £17.5 but on a car supermarket and I prefer buying from dealership for their extra year warranty if that makes sense.
